Vrana agreed to terms on a three-year, $15.75 million contract with the Red Wings on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vrana spent most of the 2020-21 campaign with the Capitals, racking up 11 goals and 25 points through 39 games before being traded to Detroit at the deadline, where he finished strong with eight goals and 11 points through the last 11 contests of the season. It wouldn't be wise for fantasy managers to expect Vrana to maintain a point-per-game pace with the Red Wings in 2021-22, but the 25-year-old winger is certainly capable of putting up 30-plus goals and 60-plus points over the course of a full campaign, making him an attractive fantasy option.
