The Hurricanes added four players to the active roster to add depth going into Thursday's matchup against the Lightning because they could still have a few players in COVID-19 protocol at puck drop. Rempal last played an NHL game in 2018-19 when he suited up in seven games for the Kings and failed to produce a point.
