Adam Larsson's play has improved since partnering up with fellow defenseman Eric Gelinas.
Larsson was drafted fourth overall in the 2011 Draft and although he has yet to turn 21, his progress has been slow. But with Gelinas as his partner, even Larsson acknowledges that his play is much improved. "I think having 'Gelly' in the lineup mixing with 'Lars', I think it really helped Lars playing out there," said goaltender Martin Brodeur. "He's been really playing well. I'm really comfortable having him in front of me, that's for sure." Larsson is worth picking up in deeper leagues (but reserve him) as he appears ready to take the next step in the NHL and that could come shortly.
