Adam Larsson recorded an assist in Albany's 2-1 shootout loss to Providence on Saturday night. The transition for the Devils' 2011 first-round pick to the NHL wasn't as smootha as they had hoped, but Larsson is widely expected to become a bonafide first-pair defenseman in time. The AHL work will probably prove beneficial in the long run -- as he's still only 20 years old. Larsson has 12 points in 23 games.
