Adam Larsson is all right after Erik Cole's upper right arm appeared to make contact with his head in the first period of Saturday's game. "Those are the hits you're trying to take out of the game," Devils coach Pete DeBoer said. "That's a textbook one to me, a dangerous play and fortunate that wasn't a serious injury." Larsson, 19, eventually got up, skated to the Devils' bench and played the remainder of the game. Larsson said he was "all right" after the hit. "It was just my neck was a little stiff and I just laid down there to make sure I was all right," he said. "All I know is that I got the shoulder in the head and we'll see how serious they think it was," Larsson said.
