According to the New York Post, Marc Staal was granted clearance for light physical activity on Tuesday after his examination by concussion specialist Dr. Robert Cantu in Boston. The Rangers refused to confirm or deny the news on Staal, but they did say that they will not provide updates on the defenseman's health during his recovery process. There is no timetable for his return and it appears that news will be scarce on the subject as well. We'll keep our ears to the ground if anything else arises though.
