According to Shea Weber's agent, Jarrett Bousquet, his client's contract does not contain a no-trade or a no-movement clause. Weber signed a 14-year, $110 million offer sheet on July 24 from Philadelphia, but it was matched by Nashville. Under the current CBA, which is set to expire on Sept. 15, Weber cannot be traded in the first year of his deal, but he can be dealt at any time afterward. He hasn't returned to Nashville yet, where some of his teammates have started informal workouts.
