According to multiple sources, Minnesota has signed center Dave Steckel to a professional tryout contract. The faceoff specialist will attempt to land a roster spot with the Wild at training camp. He won 57.1 percent of his draws last season after he joined the Anaheim Ducks from Toronto in March.
