According to Lightning coach Jon Cooper, Johnson will be out for at least a week with his undisclosed injury, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cooper added that the Bolts will be cautious with Johnson, who we believe is dealing with the same mysterious ailment that kept him out of game action for a three-game stretch that spilled into December. Johnson may only be 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, but he plays a big game, collecting 122 points over the last two seasons, not including this campaign for which he has four goals and seven assists in 23 games. Here's hoping the injury doesn't keep him out longer than Cooper's timeframe.
