According to Evgeni Nabokov's agent, Don Meehan, his client is committed to playing in the NHL next season. Meehan already stated in May that Nabokov was willing to report to the Islanders training camp. That gives the Islanders three goaltenders signed to one-way contracts. One solution might be to trade Nabokov and given that he's signed to a very affordable one-year/$570,000 contract, he should attract some interest. We'll keep you posted.
