Abdelkader (shoulder) has been activated from injured reserve in advance of Tuesday's game against the Blue Jackets, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports. Abdelkader will return to the lineup after a seven-game absence due to the partially-separated shoulder. He's expected to slot into Gustav Nyquist and Henrik Zetterberg on the Red Wings' top line.
