Abdelkader ripped off another two points Wednesday, potting a goal and dishing out an assist in a 3-2 win over Calgary. That's eight points in the last seven games for the 27-year-old, who is up to 23 points this season. Abdelkader has clearly enjoyed life beside Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk at different times this season, and is just five points away from obliterating his career high of 28 set last year.
