Detroit has been clicking on offense of late, and coach Jeff Blashill evidently doesn't want to fix something that isn't broken, as Abdelkader appears poised to slot into a bottom-six role against St. Louis, skating with Luke Glendening and Steve Ott on the Wings' fourth line. The 29-year-old winger's owners may want to keep him on the bench until he's able to work his way back into a top-six role.
