Abdelkader (hand) will not play on Saturday in Game 2 against Tampa Bay, NHL.com's Bryan Burns reports. Abdelkader was able to skate on Friday in a non-contact jersey, but he still isn't ready to make his return to the Wings' lineup. He should be considered day-to-day, and will get another chance to return to game action on Tuesday.
