Abdelkader (hand) is expected to play in Tuesday's game three against Tampa Bay, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports. Abdelkader has been dealing with a hand injury since Apr. 5 in Detroit's game against Minnesota and has not played since that contest. He skated in a non-contact jersey Friday and appears to be on track for a return to the ice Tuesday.
