Sedin (upper body) will not be in Monday's lineup against the Kings, Jeff Paterson of the Vancouver Province reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sedin exited Saturday's contest against the Kings with the issue, and the Canucks will be without a crucial piece of their pie through at least Monday because of it. Vancouver is already weak in forward depth, and will have just one skater (Daniel Sedin) in Monday's matchup having notched 30 points on the campaign. Sedin will turn his focuses towards returning for Wednesday's contest against the Coyotes, but expect the team to update his status again over the next couple days.

Sedin suffered an upper-body injury and will not return to Saturday night's game against San Jose, Jon Abbott of TSN 1040.
EDGE Analysis
The injury could be related to the one Sedin had just prior to the All-Star break when he missed three games due to what was described as an undisclosed injury. Sedin's status for Monday night's game against Los Angeles is uncertain.

Sedin did not return for the second period of Saturday's game against San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
He was hit hard and awkwardly by the Sharks' Brent Burns and was down on the ice for a few minutes. Sedin stuck around for a bit, but may have stiffened up during intermission. There is no word on whether Sedin will return to the game.

Sedin racked up four assists in Sunday's win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Sedin to continues to pile up points for Vancouver, who snapped a four-game losing skid Sunday. The 35-year-old has nine points in his last five games and is up to 46 points (10 goals) in 53 games on the season. The Canucks have struggled of late, but Sedin is still going to find a way to get on the scoresheet, so make sure he's in your lineup.

Sedin tallied a goal and an assist -- both on the power play -- in Monday's loss to the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
The goal snapped a 20-game stretch without lighting the lamp for Sedin, as he'd last found the back of the net Dec. 7. The 35-year-old was able to stay productive while dishing out apples during that span, but it's encouraging to see him end that drought, as he's now over the 40-point plateau for the 12th consecutive season.

Sedin logged over 20 minutes of ice time in his first game back from injury against Columbus on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Sedin was unable to get on the scoresheet, but showed few signs of fatigue, as he exceeded his season average game time by more than two minutes. While it would have been nice for the 35-year-old to record a marker, it will take time to get his legs under him after being out since Jan. 17. The center has not scored a goal in his last 16 outings, but will look to end that streak Saturday against the Flames.

Sedin (upper body) will return to the lineup Thursday night against the Blue Jackets, Iain MacIntyre of the Vancouver Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sedin missed the past four games due to the upper-body ailment, but it appears that he's safe to activate Thursday for an attractive match against a Columbus team that's allowing more than 30 shots per contest. Sedin has nine goals and 28 assists in 44 games this season, complemented by a plus-11 rating.

Sedin (upper body) returned to practice Tuesday, Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sedin has missed the Canucks' last four games with an upper-body injury, but his return to practice Tuesday bodes well for his chances of returning to action Thursday against Columbus. Expect an update on the 35-year-old forward's status ahead of Vancouver's matchup with the Blue Jackets.

Sedin (undisclosed) is expected to return to practice following the All-Star break.
EDGE Analysis
Sedin landed on injured reserve Jan. 20 after he was earlier ruled out through the All-Star break, but it appears that absence may not extend too far beyond it. If he returns to practice following the interlude as expected, it wouldn't be a stretch for him to rejoin the lineup for the team's first game of the second half Feb. 4 against the Blue Jackets, though that should sort itself out as the date nears.

Sedin (undisclosed) is officially listed on injured reserve.
EDGE Analysis
This was expected since Sedin likely will not be back until after the All-Star break (Jan. 30-31). Jared McCan has been bumped up to the top line in his absence, but the Canucks have yet to call up another player to take Sedin's spot on the roster. He'll be eligible to return Jan. 26 against the Predators, but that seems like a long shot at this point.
