Andersen (undisclosed) won't be available for Monday's Game 1 versus the Bruins, Sara Civian of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen skated on his own Sunday, which is a step in the right direction, but he'll presumably need to practice with the team before making his postseason debut. With Andersen on the shelf, look for Antti Raanta or Pyotr Kochetkov to get the start in goal in Game 1.

Andersen (undisclosed) has yet to resume skating according to coach Rod Brind'Amour, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Given the fact that Andersen has yet to get back on the ice, fantasy players should probably anticipate him missing some of the playoffs in addition to Thursday's regular-season finale. Still, despite the layoff, Andersen should immediately reclaim his spot as the preferred option between the pipes whenever given the all-clear to return.

Andersen (undisclosed) will miss at least a week before being re-evaluated, according to coach Rod Brind'Amour, Sara Civian of The Athletic reports Monday.
EDGE Analysis
It's certainly not good news for the Hurricanes, who will be without their starting netminder for at least the next four games. During Andersen's absence, Antti Raanta will be tasked with the goaltending duties, though a back-to-back versus the Devils and Islanders on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, could see Pyotr Kochetkov pressed into service. It's been a fantastic year for the 32-year-old Andersen, who got back over the 30-win threshold for the first time since 2018-19 when he was with Toronto.

Andersen (undisclosed) needed assistance getting off the ice in the third period of Saturday's game versus the Avalanche, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was hurt late in the third period after making a save. He allowed seven goals on 33 shots prior to the injury. It's never a good sign when a player needs help off the ice, and it would be a huge blow for the Hurricanes to lose their top netminder for any amount of time. More information on his status should surface before Monday's game versus the Coyotes. If Andersen misses time, Antti Raanta would take over as the starter and Alex Lyon would likely be recalled from AHL Chicago to serve as backup.

Andersen is expected to be in goal versus the Avalanche on the road Saturday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen watched from the bench against Detroit on Thursday but will be back in the crease as he looks to extend his two-game winning streak. With 35 wins on the year, the veteran is just three victories shy of matching the career best he set back in 2017-18 while with the Maple Leafs.

Andersen made 28 saves in a 4-2 victory over the Rangers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
He's part of the NHL's top penalty kill, which shut down the NHL's second-ranked power play (0-4 with just four shots on the night). Andersen was beaten by K'Andre Miller at the 1:03 mark of the second period when the Rangers' defender cut to the right post and converted a cross-crease post from Mika Zibanejad. That made it 1-0. Chris Kreider scored his 50th of the season at 18:22 of the third period with the Rangers' net empty to draw the game to 3-2., but that was it. Andersen is now 35-13-3, and with eight games left for the Canes, he has every change to best his career win mark of 38 (2017-18).

Andersen will tend the twine in Tuesday's road matchup against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has appeared in five of the Canes' last six contests in which he posted a 2-3-0 record and 2.27 GAA. With just one more victory, the 32-year-old Dane will reach the 35-win mark for the fourth time in his nine-year NHL career. Heading into the postseason, Andersen should be the Game 1 starter and could get some rest down the stretch in order to get him ready for a deep run.

Andersen stopped 23 of 25 shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen entered Sunday on a three-game losing skid, but he was able to put that to rest with little trouble from the Ducks. That run was just the second time all season the 32-year-old netminder has lost three games in a row. He's at 34-14-3 with a 2.07 GAA and a .925 save percentage in 50 appearances this season. Andersen will likely get the nod again Tuesday versus the Rangers in a battle between the Metropolitan Division's top two teams.

Andersen will get the starting nod at home against Anaheim on Sunday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Andersen will look to snap his three-game losing streak. The 32-year-old goalie has fallen to 33-13-3 but he's still sporting a terrific 2.07 GAA and .926 save percentage through 49 games this season. He turned away 31 of 32 shots in a Nov. 18 victory over the Ducks.

Andersen will likely start Sunday against the Ducks, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
There's a chance fellow netminder Antti Raanta could still start Sunday, but he sat out the Hurricanes' morning skate, so it's looking like Andersen will get the nod for a second straight contest.
