Beauchemin collected an assist in Tuesday's overtime win over the Hurricanes. Beauchemin had been held off the score sheet for the previous five games. The blueliner possesses less offensive potential than second-pair mate Hampus Lindholm, but has historically submitted useful hit and blocked shot totals.

Beauchemin earned first star honors in Sunday's shootout win over Nashville, scoring the game-tying goal, firing three shots on goal, dishing out four hits, and recording a plus-3 rating in 24:20 of ice time. An outstanding night for Beauchemin, who now has two goals and seven points in 23 games. Averaging 22:51 of ice time on the Western-Conference leading Ducks, Beauchemin should hit the 20-point barrier this season. While he isn't a huge offensive producer, the veteran is still worth owning in some deep leagues,as he sees power-play time and has produced 20-plus points six times in his career.

Beauchemin (finger) will play Saturday against the Coyotes, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Coach Bruce Boudreau confirmed that Beauchemin, who has assisted on five goals in 18 games this season, will return against Arizona after missing more than a month with a broken finger. His minutes may be scaled back a bit in his first couple games back, but the 34-year-old winger has been practicing for a couple weeks now and should be close to 100 percent.

Beauchemin (finger) will not rejoin the lineup Monday against the Coytoes, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Beauchemin's initial outlook favored him returning over the weekend, but it appears the Ducks are content giving him Monday and the holiday break off before returning. The team's next game after Monday is Saturday, giving him plenty of extra time to rest up.

Beauchemin (finger) isn't expected to play Thursday against the Canadiens, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Though Beauchemin continues to make progress with his broken finger, he seems intent on making sure he's 100 percent healthy before playing. The Ducks are still optimistic about his chances of being available over the weekend.

Beauchemin (broken finger) is hoping to return to the lineup either Thursday in Montreal or Friday in Ottawa, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Beauchemin has shown incremental improvement with his recovery from the broken digit suffered Nov. 25, but said he was still having some difficulty "pushing on it." The Ducks will check in on his status prior to their next two games before deciding on whether or not to activate him.

Beauchemin (finger) practiced Saturday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Though Beauchemin was expected to miss four-to-six weeks after fracturing his finger in late-November, it looks like the injury may only cost him as few as three weeks, as he's demonstrated substantial progress of late. Coach Bruce Boudreau said he expects Beauchemin to play in the latter portion of the team's current road trip, which concludes next Friday in Ottawa.

Beauchemin has been diagnosed with a broken finger and will miss four-to-six weeks. With Beauchemin headed for a long-term absence, the Ducks immediately made a deal to restock on depth defensively, acquiring Eric Brewer from the Lightning for a 2015 third-round draft choice. Beauchemin has had some unfortunate luck on the health front this season, as he had just gotten over a nasty case of the mumps virus before breaking his finger in his first game back Tuesday. This latest setback figures to keep him out of commission until after the New Year.

Beauchemin (upper body) is not expected to play Friday against the Blackhawks, NHL.com's Curtis Zupke reports. It sounds like Beauchemin's hand is still ailing him after he hurt it while blocking a shot Tuesday against Calgary. Clayton Stoner figures to return to the lineup in his stead.

Beauchemin (upper body) is questionable to play Friday versus the Blackhawks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Beauchemin hasn't been practicing since exiting Tuesday's game against the Flames with the injury. The odds would seem against him suiting up Friday, but his outlook could change if he's able to take part in the team's morning skate.
