The Senators will continue to look for trading partners for defensemen Filip Kuba and Sergei Gonchar this off-season. As top-rated defensemen prospects Jared Cowen, David Rundblad and Patrick Wiercioch will be knocking on the door for a roster spot, the Sens may have to make room on their blueline by trading Kuba and/or Gonchar . Of course dealing either may be a tad tricky as they both command a salary out of whack with their current skill level. We will keep you updated.
