Johnson won't be in the lineup versus Washington on Monday after sustaining an undisclosed injury, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

With Devon Toews (undisclosed) also on the shelf, Kurtis MacDermid and Jack Johnson will likely comprise the third pairing for Monday's matchup.

His well-rounded numbers could carry some value in deeper fantasy formats, especially if he stays warm through April.

Johnson notched two assists, three shots on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 6-3 win over the Flyers.

Johnson helped out on first-period tallies by Nazem Kadri and Mikko Rantanen as the Avalanche quickly took control of the game. This ended a 10-game drought for Johnson, who been bumped down the depth chart after Colorado acquired Josh Manson from Anaheim. Johnson is at 19 points, 118 shots on net, 138 hits, 108 blocked shots and a plus-17 rating in 65 appearances -- he's on track to play in every game for the first time in his career.

Johnson fired four shots and made six hits in a 2-0 loss to the Hurricanes on Thursday.

Despite the loss, Johnson's performance Thursday was notable, as the four shots were his most since Dec. 14 against the New York Rangers. Plus, the defenseman had put up six or more hits in just two other outings this season.

Johnson delivered seven hits in a 4-1 win over the Kings on Thursday.
