Fehr took part in Friday's practice and appears set to play against Washington on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The versatile forward, who scored the game-winning goal in Game 2, is skating on a second line with Evgeni Malkin and Chris Kunitz. Fehr potted only eight goals in 55 regular-season games but has already scored two in the playoffs.

Fehr isn't participating in pregame warmups, indicating he won't be in the lineup for Wednesday's Game 4 against the Capitals, NHL.com's Dan Rosen reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fehr wasn't on the ice for Wednesday's morning skate due to an undisclosed ailment, which was the first indication that he may not be available for Game 4. Bryan Rust will slide into the veteran winger's spot in the Penguins' lineup, skating alongside Evgeni Malkin and Chris Kunitz on Pittsburgh's third line. The severity of Fehr's injury remains unclear, but those keeping tabs on the 30-year-old forward's availabilty can expect an update on his status ahead of Saturday's Game 5 against Washington.

Fehr is considered a game-time decision for Wednesday evening's Game 4 against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Fehr missed Wednesday's morning skate with an undisclosed injury and it appears he has a legitimate shot of missing the evening's contest. If that's the case, Oskar Sundqvist is expected to draw into the lineup and take his spot on the third line alongside Chris Kunitz and Evgeni Malkin.

Fehr scored the game-winning goal Saturday against the Capitals in Game 2.
EDGE Analysis
It was a nice play from the former Capital, who redirected an Evgeni Malkin pass past Braden Holtby. Fehr has scored twice this postseason, but is yet to pick up an assist and has just one helper in 44 career NHL playoff games. While he won't tear up the scoresheet, Fehr is a solid depth scorer who should continue to find twine if remains on a line with Evgeni Malkin.

Fehr picked up two goals, including an empty-netter, in Sunday's 6-2 victory over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old winger picked up points for the second straight game, and now has five points in his last six games. He registered 16:59 of ice time Sunday, marking the third straight game he's seen over 15:00. With just 14 points on the season, Fehr hasn't been a factor in fantasy hockey, though his recent hot streak could make him worth a look in deeper leagues as the season draws to a close.

Fehr (lower body) will rejoin the lineup Friday against the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Despite his return to the lineup, the 30-year-old winger owns just 11 points through 39 contests this season. He will slot in as the right wing on the fourth line Friday, but remains largely off the fantasy radar.

Fehr (lower body) will be a game-time decision for Friday night's road match against the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Fehr's spent 10 years in the NHL, including 37 games worth of playoff experience as a member of the Capitals between 2007-15. The Pens currently have a good shot at making it to the postseason, but the team will be counting on Fehr, who's locked into a leadership role, to help them secure the spot. Of course, Fehr hasn't played since Feb. 2, when he sustained the lower-body ailment.

Fehr (lower body) took part in practice with the team Friday following an on ice workout, Pens Inside Scoop reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fehr's 14-game absence has forced the Penguins to give their young AHL prospects serious minutes, but as the playoffs approach, the team will want to get the veteran center back as soon as possible. It has been a disappointing first season with Pittsburgh, as he's missed a significant number of games due to various maladies. The 30-year-old's biggest contributions when healthy were on the penalty kill where he snagged three shorthanded goals.

Fehr (lower body) will be out at least a month and has gone on injured reserve to make room for a roster call up, Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fehr was unable to put weight on his leg when he was injured, a good indication of the severity of the injury. With the 30-year-old out, along with fellow centers Evgeni Malkin (lower body) and Nick Bonino (hand), Pittsburgh recalled rookie Oskar Sundqvist. A gritty role-player, Fehr provides more value to the Penguins' lineup than to fantasy outcomes.

Fehr (lower body) is expected to be out of the lineup for at least a month, Jenn Menendez of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Penguins coach Mike Sullivan described Fehr's injury as "significant" but said he should return this season. The veteran has made his biggest contribution as a penalty killer, as he's scored three short-handed goals this season. Pittsburgh will need to bring somebody up to replace the center given their string of injuries up the middle.
