King registered an assist with thee shots on net over 16:21 of ice time during Friday's game against Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Los Angeles has a depleted and underwhelming depth chart, which enabled King to climb up to the No. 1 line and skate with Anze Kopitar and Tyler Toffoli on Friday. Still, King's 15 goals and 15 assists during the 2013-14 season are both career bests and low-end fantasy numbers. Playing with Kopitar and Toffli could be a fleeting opportunity, too.

King tallied a goal, an assist, four hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
After missing the first 35 games of the season to a broken foot, King has now put up 11 points in 25 games. That is not too shabby considering that he put up 26 points a season ago while playing 81 games. While he still doesn't have much value in most leagues, he may be worth a look in much deeper leagues should he start putting up numbers a bit more consistently.

King scored a goal and added an assist despite playing just 10:53 in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
The third-line winger made the Kings proud by picking up his fifth and six points of the season, but his career .34 point-per-game career pace suggests his decent output through 14 games is nothing more than a small-sample fluke. Even with his foot injury behind him, King doesn't have enough offensive skills to be a difference-maker in standard leagues.

King made his season debut Tuesday, netting a goal and an assist in a win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
King slotted in on the third line, where the trio including Trevor Lewis and Dustin Brown combined for eight points in the victory. King had yet to play a game all season after breaking a bone in his foot on Oct. 5. The 26-year-old is coming off a 13-goal, 26-point campaign in 2014-15 and should be a reliable bottom-six scorer on a Kings team that has won three straight games and holds an 11-point lead in the Pacific Division.

King (foot) will play Tuesday against the Oilers, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
King wasn't expected to be available until after the new year, but participated in pregame warmups, and will make his season debut Tuesday against the Oilers. The 26-year-old winger tallied 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists) in 81 games with the Kings last season.

King (foot) skated on his own Wednesday, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
King's return to the ice Wednesday is a big step in the right direction in his recovery from a broken bone in his foot, but he's still likely a few weeks away from returning to game action, as he'll need to log a number of full practices before returning to the Kings' lineup. A more definitive timetable for King's return should be established once the 26-year-old winger is able to return to practice with his teammates.

King (foot) remains about two weeks out from resuming skating, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
King's initial diagnosis had him sidelined until mid-December in a best case scenario and that would seem optimistic at this point given his current status.

King (foot) will remain in a soft boot for about two more weeks before resuming training, Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
After breaking a bone in his foot on October 5, King was expected to miss 8-to-10 weeks, and he appears to be on schedule with this timeline. It will still be a while before his return, but expect him to slot back into the Kings' lineup as a third-line left wing when he does.

King broke a bone in his foot and will be out for 8-to-10 weeks, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
King sustained the injury blocking a shot in a preseason contest and recently underwent surgery. At this point, it appears as though a return by the end of the calendar year would be the likely timetable. When healthy, King will slot back into a bottom-six forward role.
