Levi will patrol the visiting crease versus Detroit on Thursday, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Sabres really want to see what they have in Levi, as he will get his third start in the past four games. The former Northeastern University star netminder is 1-1-0 with the Sabres, giving up four goals on 69 shots. He will face the Red Wings, who are 22nd in NHL scoring, averaging 2.96 goals per game.

Levi stopped 34 of 36 shots in the Sabres' 2-1 loss to the Panthers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
In just his second NHL start, Levi was excellent once again, allowing a power-play goal to Aaron Ekblad and the eventual game-winning goal to Matthew Tkachuk in the third period. This marks the second straight game where Levi has allowed two goals and posted at least a .939 save percentage. The Canadian netminder should be the starting goalie for the Sabres as they close out 2022-23 regular season.

Levi will protect the road goal Tuesday versus the Panthers, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levi won his debut Friday versus the Rangers, stopping 31 of 33 shots in a 3-2 overtime victory. The Sabres will continue to get a look at their top goaltending prospect down the stretch. The Panthers have won three straight games, scoring 15 goals over that span, so they could be a challenge for Levi in his second career start.

Levi turned aside 31 shots in Friday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The Sabres staked the 21-year-old to a 2-0 lead, and Levi had to survive a furious comeback from the Blueshirts that included 20 shots in the third period alone just to get the game to OT, but Jeff Skinner made sure the kid was a winner in his first NHL start. Buffalo remains five points back of Pittsburgh for the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference, with Florida in between the two, and it's entirely possible Levi gives the Sabres their best chance to close the gap of their three healthy netminders.

Levi will make his NHL debut Friday versus the Rangers, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levi is considered the Sabres' goaltender of the future, and the future will begin Friday. He had an outstanding NCAA career, especially in 2021-22, when he was 21-10-1 with a 1.54 GAA and .952 save percentage. The Rangers are a tough opponent, as they are third in the Metropolitan Division with 98 points.

Levi is at practice Friday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levi signed his entry-level contract a week ago and then had to sort out his work visa status. That has apparently been fixed and the Sabres are excited for the young netminder to get into some practices and eventually make his NHL debut. Levi starred at Northeastern University the past two seasons, going 17-12-5 with a 2.24 GAA and .933 save percentage this season. He was even better in 2021-22 with a 21-10-1 record, a 1.54 GAA and an eye-popping .952 save percentage. He is considered the Sabres' goaltender of the future.

Levi will spend the rest of the season with the Sabres, Joe Yerdon of the Bleacher Report reports.
EDGE Analysis
Levi signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Buffalo on Friday. The 21-year-old is a high-end goaltending prospect who posted a 2.24 GAA and a .933 save percentage in 34 NCAA games with Northeastern University this season. Although Levi's joining the Sabres, it might be some time before he makes his NHL debut because first he'll need to sort out his work visa status and then get into some practices.

Levi has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Levi excelled with Northeastern University, posting a 1.54 GAA and a .952 save percentage in 32 contests in 2021-22 and following that up with a 2.24 GAA and .933 save percentage in 34 games this season. He was originally taken by Florida with the No. 212 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, but Buffalo acquired him as part of the Sam Reinhart trade in the summer of 2021. Levi has plenty of potential, though the 21-year-old might need to put in some work in the AHL before he's ready to challenge for a roster spot with the Sabres.

Levi has been traded to Buffalo from Florida, along with a lottery-protected first-round pick in 2022, for Sam Reinhart, reports The Buffalo News.
EDGE Analysis
Levi burst into prominence at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship, where the seventh-rounder (2020) posted an eye-popping .964 save percentage on a silver-medal run with Canada. A rib injury suffered at the tourney kept him out of Northeastern's lineup after the junior tourney. But his pedigree precedes him. Levi was named the CJHL Player of the Year and MVP, and CCHL MVP in 2019-20 with a stunning .941 save percentage. The Sabres have now solidified their goaltending pipeline and don't be surprised if Levi climbs above them all in a few short years.
