Stepan recorded his 14th assist of the season in Saturday's win over the Canucks.
Stepan didn't attempt any shots in the game, but didn't need to in a game the Rangers dominated from the opening puck drop. He's only potted two goals in his 15 games on the season, but that number should rise once his current 5.6 shooting percentage more closely approaches his 11.1 percent career rate.

Stepan assisted on all three of the Rangers' goals in Friday's triumph over the Flyers.
Stepan was credited with an assist at even strength, with the man advantage, and on the penalty kill, showcasing the versatility he offers as the Rangers' top-line center. He's shown no ill effects since returning from the fractured fibula that kept him out of action until Nov. 8, producing two goals and nine helpers over 10 games.

Stepan scored an early second period goal in Sunday's 5-0 win over Montreal.
After missing the first five weeks of the season, the 24-year-old veteran has seemingly stepped back in without skipping a beat. While the coaching staff would likely prefer face-off numbers than the 50-percent ratio he put up on Sunday, two goals and five assists in his first eight contests is something both the organization and fantasy owners are enjoying.

Stepan and the Rangers had their scheduled game Friday against the Sabres postponed due to the extreme weather conditions in the Buffalo area, Andrew Gross of the Bergen Record reports.
With some parts of the region receiving up to six feet of snow this week, traveling to Buffalo would have proven quite treacherous for the Rangers had the game been played as scheduled. No make-up date has been announced yet for the game, but expect Stepan to be in the lineup for the Rangers' next contest Sunday versus Montreal.

Stepan recorded an assist in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Flyers.
Since returning from a broken leg suffered in the preseason, Stepan has returned to form as one of the most consistent centers in the NHL. He now has a goal and five assists in seven games, and his recent performances should quell any lingering worries fantasy owners may have had about his health moving forward.

Stepan scored his first goal of the year and tallied in the shootout Thursday, but it wasn't enough in a 4-3 loss to the Avalanche.
The Rangers missed Stepan while he was out due to a broken leg, and he's been productive since returning, with four points in as many games. There's no reason he shouldn't keep it rolling.

Stepan picked up two assists -- one on the power play -- and went plus-2 with two PIM in Tuesday's 5-0 rout of the Penguins.
Stepan looked much stronger in this one than he did in his first two games back from a broken leg, as he finished positive in faceoffs for the first time this year and created Rick Nash's shorthanded goal by winning a race behind the Penguins' net and making a slick feed to Nash in the slot. Despite having missed a dozen games, Stepan could still very well clear 50 points this season.

Stepan picked up an assist in 17:26 of ice time in his season debut Saturday.
Expect the ice time numbers to start to increase once he gets his legs under him. Wait a couple games to get him back in there.

Stepan (leg) was officially activated from injured reserve Saturday.
The Rangers announced after Friday's practice that Stepan had been cleared to make his season debut Saturday against the Maple Leafs. He shouldn't face any limitations in the game and will center a line of Chris Kreider and Mats Zuccarello.

As expected, Stepan (leg) will make his season debut Saturday against the Maple Leafs.
Stepan missed the Rangers' first 12 games with a fractured fibula, but after practicing throughout the week, he's finally ready to resume his duties in the team's top six. The Rangers will likely wait until Saturday morning before officially activating him, but fantasy owners should beginning preparing a spot to slide the center into their lineups. Stepan is expected to skate next to Chris Kreider and Mats Zuccarello in Saturday's contest.
