Rittich yielded six goals on 32 shots in a 6-2 shellacking at the hands of the Maple Leafs on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Rittich's modest two-game winning streak came to an end in a jarring way. It was his second game in his last four appearances in which he gave up six goals. Rittich's record fell to 22-6-5, with a 2.66 GAA and a .910 save percentage. The Flames have a road back-to-back Wednesday and Thursday in Vegas and Arizona, and it's likely for Mike Smith and Rittich to split starts.

Rittich will tend the home cage in Monday's clash against the Maple Leafs, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
After losing the starting job to Mike Smith, Rittich has been solid in his past two starts, racking up a 2-0-0 record to go along with a 1.00 GAA and .953 save percentage. The 26-year-old will have to be on his toes, facing a Toronto offense that ranks third in goals this campaign (233).

Rittich allowed one goal on 20 shots in a 2-1 victory against the Devils on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This is Rittich's second straight strong start after struggling early in February, which led to the 26-year-old sitting on the bench several games. But in the last two games, Rittich has stopped 41 of the last 43 shots (.953 save percentage) he's faced. Keep in mind, though, those games were against the Senators and Devils. Still, Rittich is back on track and holds a strong 22-5-5 record with a 2.56 GAA and .913 save percentage this season.

Rittich will start in goal Wednesday versus the Devils in New Jersey, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
There could be as many as nine Devils skaters out of commission due to their respective injuries Wednesday, so Rittich figures to be a trendy play on a daily docket that features five games. Rittich has reeled off a 21-5-5 record to pad serviceable ratios (2.61 GAA and .912 save percentage) through 35 games as a 26-year-old netminder. He once said, "I just want to play hockey for fun. It's not just a job for me. First thing, it's fun for me." With any luck, fantasy owners rolling out Rittich on Wednesday will have a similar experience.

Rittich made 22 saves in Sunday's 2-1 win over Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
It's Rittich's first win in the month of February, and it came only after having spent five straight games on the bench in a backup capacity. By allowing only a single goal Sunday, the Flames' netminder was able to limit Ottawa's depleted forward group. The last game Rittich held an opponent under two goals came back on Dec. 27.

Rittich will defend the road cage in Sunday's game versus the Senators, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rittich's performance since the All-Star break has been brutal with an .853 save percentage and 4.24 GAA, so he's watched the last five games from the bench. This is the perfect opportunity for the 26-year-old to get back into action as the Senators are in full sell mode with the trades of Matt Duchene and Ryan Dzingel. They'll also likely sit Mark Stone as a precautionary measure, meaning their top-three forwards won't be in the fold.

Rittich surrendered six goals on 27 shots in a 6-3 loss to the Lightning on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Rittich has now given up 11 goals in his last three starts. His record drops to 20-5-5, with a 2.66 GAA and a .911 save percentage. Don't be surprised if coach Bill Peters turns to Mike Smith against the Panthers on Thursday night.

Rittich will defend the net Tuesday against the Lightning in Tampa, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a pair of lackluster performances, Rittich will have his work cut out for him to bounce back Tuesday against a Lightning team that owns the league's best average goal differential (plus-1.50) on home ice. Rittich has been up to the task on the road, however, sporting an 11-4-1 record to go along with a 1.92 GAA and a .939 save percentage.

Rittich will guard the cage in Saturday's road game against the Canucks, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rittich struggled in his last appearance Thursday against San Jose, surrendering two goals on just six shots before being replaced by Mike Smith in the first period of the eventual 5-2 loss. The 26-year-old backstop will look to bounce back and secure his 21st victory of the season in a road matchup with a Canucks club that's averaging 3.08 goals per game at home this campaign, 19th in the NHL.

Rittich allowed two goals on six shots before he was replaced by Mike Smith in the first period of Thursday's 5-2 loss to San Jose.
EDGE Analysis
The loss will be credited to Smith, so Rittich's season record remains at 20-4-4 to go along with his 2.54 GAA and .916 save percentage.
