Even with the addition of Mark Streit, Timonen has maintained his position on the Flyer's top power-play, which has vastly improved during the team's strong stretch. Alfredsson will play tonight after missing the last five games. The Red Wings will be without Pavel Datsyuk tonight due to a possible concussion, so Alfie will slide into the top-6 tonight. He registered three goals and 11 assists in his first 19 games as a Red Wing.

Alfredsson let head coach Mike Babcock know that he is ready to go tonight, but he will sit against his former team as the Red Wings go with the same lineup as Thursday. He will miss his fifth straight game after tweaking his groin in warmups last Friday.
