Crawford turned aside a whopping 46 shots, allowing just a single goal in a 2-1 shootout win over the visiting Oilers on Friday. The barrage of shots came from all angles, as 11 Oilers recorded three or more SOG in the contest. Crawford was actually perfect in the shootout as well, with the only puck getting by him on the night coming courtesy of Derek Roy near the end of the first period. After three straight losses, Crow appears to have seriously found his game, as he's given up just three goals on 96 shots (.969 save percentage) over his last three starts -- all of which have been wins.

Crawford appears on track to start Friday's game against the Oilers, NHL.com's Brian Hedger reports. Crawford will thus be looking for his third win in a row Friday, on the heels of Monday's 5-2 triumph over the Hurricanes, in which he stopped 27 shots.

Crawford turned aside 27 of 29 shots in Monday's 5-2 win over the Hurricanes. Crawford has bounced back from a trio of losses with two straight strong performances to notch his 25th win of the season. Coach Joel Quenneville has elected to turn to Scott Darling twice in the team's last four games, so the extra time off may have been the difference for Crawford in his past two outings. The team has three days off before their next contest, so Crawford will have another break even if he's not spelled by Darling in that one.

Crawford is slated to start Monday's game against the Hurricanes, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Crawford, who gave way to Scott Darling in Friday's loss to Tampa Bay, is coming off a 20-save shutout win over the Panthers on Thursday. He'll face a Carolina squad Monday that is tied for 26th overall in the NHL with 55 points, but closed out February with three straight wins.

Crawford will backup Scott Darling on Friday against Tampa Bay as part of a back-to-back scenario, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports. Crawford came off one of his best recent outings on Thursday with a 3-0 shutout of Florida, stopping 20 shots on goal. He probably will give way a few more starts before the playoffs since his recent woes might have been attributed to being overworked. Crawford is still the number one goalie and could be back in goal on Monday against Carolina. Hawks' coach Joel Quenneville could give Darling another start against the woeful Hurricanes, but Crawford is a good bet to start.

Crawford recorded just his second shutout of the year Thursday, stopping all 20 shots in a 3-0 win over Florida. Crawford's never been known for racking up shutouts, but clearly he figured the 'Hawks needed a pick-me-up after Patrick Kane's heartbreaking injury. The 30-year-old netminder had given up eight goals over his last two starts coming in, so this is a nice turnaround for him.

Crawford will start Thursday's game against Florida, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports. Crawford got a rare break Tuesday against the Panthers, so it's no surprise that he'll handle the second game of the home-and-away series. He may also be in net for Friday's game in Tampa Bay, though it's possible Scott Darling will get another star.

Crawford will back up Scott Darling in goal for Tuesday's game against the Panthers, the Blackhawks reported. Blackhawks' coach Joel Quenneville said that he was just giving Crawford a rest which would seem to mean that he will be in goal on Thursday in Florida. Crawford had his worst outing on Sunday as he was pulled against the Bruins after giving up four goals and making only 10 saves. He has allowed four goals in his last two starts. So far in 41 starts he is 23-14-4 with a 2.36 goals against average and .918 save percentage. The GAA is slightly higher this season than last season's 2.26, but save percentage is about the same.

Crawford allowed four goals on just 14 shots before being replaced in the second period of Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Bruins.Crawford has been wildly inconsistent in February, which has led to three straight losses -- including back-to-back four goal outings -- after a strong 4-1-0 stretch before that. He still sports solid numbers with a 23-14-4 record to go along with a 2.36 GAA and .918 save percentage, but it would be nice to see more steady production out of the 30-year-old.
