Crawford made 28 saves in Thursday's 10-1 win over Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Unfazed by a tough matchup on paper, Crawford breezed to a victory over the defending Stanley Cup champs. Chicago made life easy for him, jumping out to a 4-0 lead less than 10 minutes in and controlling play with a 44-29 advantage in shots. Crawford has long benefited from a terrific team in front of him and it's already clear that will be the case once again this season.

Crawford will be in the crease for Thursday's Opening Night tilt with Pittsburgh, Brian Hedger of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This season will be Crawford's eighth as Chicago's No. 1 goalie, and during this time he's won two Stanley Cups and was named as an All-Star twice. However, 2017-18 is unique in the sense that it's the first campaign that Chicago enters without being widely considered as a Stanley Cup contender during Crawford's tenure, and it will be interesting to see how his performances are affected. Crawford will have a difficult test right off the bat, taking on last season's leading goal scorers and two-time defending champs.

Crawford will be the starting netminder for Monday's preseason game against Boston, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the regular season fast approaching, Crawford is expected to get a whole game's worth of work in Monday. The 32-year-old will look to build on his strong performance in his first preseason action, stopping 30 shots and only allowing one goal.

Crawford stopped 22 of 25 shots in Thursday's 4-1 Game 4 loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford wasn't the problem in this one, as the fourth Nashville goal was an empty-netter and the team in front of him failed to get on the board until just 5:18 remained in the third period. He got outplayed by counterpart Pekka Rinne once again, and will want back a third-period goal by Colton Sissons that rolled in off Crawford's body after hitting the crossbar. At least it's apparent that Chicago's faith in him as their No. 1 option never wavered since backup Scott Darling didn't play in this series after besting the veteran's .918 regular season save percentage with a .924 mark in 32 appearances.

Crawford led his team onto the ice for warmups, indicating that he will be the starting goalie for Thursday night's must-win game in Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
The Chicago defense left Crawford out to dry in Game 3 when they allowed 49 shots on goal, and though Crow managed a .939 save percentage in that game, he still emerged with the loss. Crawford has been one of the only bright spots in the Blackhawks' disappointing first three playoff games, so if his teammates can get their stuff together, they may just be able to avoid the sweep Thursday.

Crawford stopped 46 shots in Monday's Game 3 against Nashville, only to take a 3-2 overtime loss.
EDGE Analysis
Other than his five-goal Game 2 implosion, Crawford has held down his end in the Chicago net, but his teammates have only scored two goals in three games on opposing minder Pekka Rinne. That puts Crawford in the unenviable position of facing elimination in Thursday's Game 4 on the road.

Crawford will be between the pipes for Monday's matchup in Nashville, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran got rocked in Game 2, allowing five goals on 29 shots. In Game 1, though, he stopped 19 of 20 shots in a 1-0 loss, so he has been hot-and-cold so far this series. Given many years of past success, and three Stanley Cups to his name, a bounce-back performance seems more likely than another implosion.

Crawford gave up five goals on 29 shots in Saturday's Game 2 loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford played well in Thursday's loss, but he simply wasn't good enough Saturday as the Blackhawks dropped to 0-2 in the series. The 32-year-old has 83 playoff games and two Stanley Cups under his belt, so if anyone can get back on track, it's Crawford. Chicago has yet to score a goal in the series, so if they can break out of their funk, Crawford has the capability of backstopping them to a comeback.

Crawford is slated to start between the pipes in Saturday's Game 2 against the Predators, Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford was sharp in Game 1, turning aside 19 of the 20 shots he faced, but he ultimately wasn't able to pick up a win due to a complete lack of goal support from his teammates. The 32-year-old netminder will look to stay dialed in and help his team even up the series Saturday evening.

Crawford gave up the only goal of Thursday's Game 1 loss to Nashville, stopping 19 of 20 shots.
EDGE Analysis
Viktor Arvidsson got him on a masterful deflection in the first period, and that was all the night's scoring. It's a tough one for Crawford, extending his personal losing streak to four games dating back into the regular season, but he certainly played well. The Blackhawks will surely ramp up their offensive support as the series goes on; they'll suit up for Game 2 on Saturday.
