Tanev (upper body) is out for Tuesday's game versus the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Tanev logged 19:29 of ice time versus the Kings on Monday, but he apparently sustained an injury. Dennis Gilbert will draw into the lineup, while Troy Stecher will likely add some responsibility with Tanev out.

Tanev picked up an assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Tanev had five helpers through 11 games in February, making it easily his most productive month of the season. The veteran defenseman is up to a goal, 12 assists, 51 shots on net, 99 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 51 outings. He was paired with Noah Hanifin on Tuesday after spending much of the season with MacKenzie Weegar -- it's unclear what head coach Darryl Sutter has planned for his defense, but it's unlikely to add much fantasy value to Tanev's profile.

Tanev notched an assist in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Tanev has three helpers and six blocked shots over his last two games. The 33-year-old defenseman doesn't often produce enough offense to help in standard fantasy formats, but he can go on short runs of success. He has 11 points, 42 shots on net, 93 blocks and a minus-1 rating through 44 outings this season.

EDGE Analysis
Tanev picked up both assists in the second period, helping out on goals by Mikael Backlund and Nazem Kadri. This was Tanev's second multi-point effort of the season, both of which have come in his last eight games. The 33-year-old defenseman has 10 points, 92 blocked, 41 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 43 contests as a defensive presence in the Flames' top four.

Tanev (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 23 on Friday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tanev was injured in a 4-3 win over Columbus on Monday and will miss a second straight contest Friday in Seattle. The Flames do not play again until Feb. 6 due to the bye week and upcoming All-Star break, giving the defenseman plenty of time to recover. Tanev has a goal, seven assists and 85 blocked shots in 40 games this season.

Tanev (undisclosed) did not finish Monday's game versus the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Tanev was hit in the first period and appeared have some issue with his shoulder or arm, though the Flames didn't confirm if that was what caused him to leave the game. If he can't play Thursday versus the Blackhawks, Nikita Zadorov would see an increased role and Connor Mackey would likely enter the lineup.

Tanev scored the game-winning goal and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 6-5 victory over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran blueliner potted his first goal of the season late in the second period, giving Calgary what seemed to be nothing more than an insurance tally in a 6-1 rout, but Dallas stormed back with four goals over the final 21 minutes of play to make things close. The helper was also Tanev's first power-play point of the season, and through 36 games the stay-at-home defender has just seven points, albeit with 74 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating.
