Dvorak had a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak played a role in both of Montreal's goals. He came out from behind the net and banked the puck in off Igor Shesterkin's arm to tie the game at a goal apiece early in the second period, then assisted on Josh Anderson's goal early in the third just 22 seconds after the Rangers had built up a 3-1 lead. The former Coyotes center also had a goal and an assist against Detroit on Oct. 23, but he has just three assists in 16 games with the Canadiens besides the two multi-point efforts.

Dvorak (undisclosed) is on the ice for warmups and is expected to suit up Tuesday against the Kings, Arpon Basu of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak has struggled to begin his first season with Montreal, scoring just five points with an unsightly minus-13 rating through 13 games, including a minus-8 rating in his last two appearances. The 25-year-old is expected to skate in his usual top-six role Tuesday.

Dvorak is in doubt versus Los Angeles on Tuesday with an undisclosed injury, Eric Engels of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak has struggled to find the back of the net this season with just one goal in 13 games, including his most recent seven-game goal drought. The 25-year-old winger has missed the 15-goal threshold just once in his five-year NHL career and that was back in 2018-19 when he was limited to just 20 games due to injury. Barring an extended stint on the sidelines, Dvorak should be capable of hitting that mark this year.

Dvorak had a power-play assist, five shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Islanders. He finished at minus-5 over 18:09 of ice time.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak was the primary helper on Tyler Toffoli's way-to-late power-play goal that closed the gap to 5-2 before a New York empty-netter emptied the Bell Centre. Dvorak's line had a rough night, combining to go minus-14. There were a few defensive breakdowns, so all the blame should not go to the forwards.

Dvorak had an assist, one shot on goal, two hits, one blocked shot and two penalty minutes in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak's beautiful saucer pass set up Josh Anderson for the lone goal of the first period, but the Kings controlled the game after that to deal Montreal its seventh loss in nine games. Dvorak, who played the previous five seasons in Arizona, has four points, 14 shots, seven hits, 11 blocked shots, eight PIM and is minus-4 for his new team.

Dvorak collected a goal and an assist with two PIM in Saturday's 6-1 win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
After going his first five games as a Canadien without a goal, Dvorak finally found the back of the net early in the second period when his attempt at a cross-crease pass banked in off the skate of a Detroit defender. He also chipped in with an assist on Mike Hoffman's power-play tally late in the opening frame. Dvorak had just one assist through his first five games of the season, so perhaps Saturday's fortunate bounce will help turn things around for a player who had 17 goals and 31 points in 56 tilts last season with Arizona.

Dvorak had one assist, one shot on net, one blocked shot and two penalty minutes in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak circled behind the net before feeding an unencumbered Jonathan Drouin stationed in front of New York goalie Igor Shesterkin for Montreal's lone goal. It was the third straight game with just one goal for the Canadiens. Dvorak is centering Montreal's top line with Drouin and Josh Anderson on the wings.

Dvorak was traded from the Coyotes to the Canadiens on Saturday in exchange for a 2022 first-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak should at least partially help the Canadiens address an offseason of departures at the center position. The team lost Phillip Danault in free agency to the Kings and Jesperi Kotkaniemi to the Hurricanes after an offer sheet. The 25-year-old Dvorak has shown the ability to consistently reach the 30-point threshold, having done so in four of his five NHL campaigns. While he won't add much toughness, he plays a reliable two-way game and he'll likely feature in a middle-six role. Dvorak is under contract for four more years with a cap hit of $4.45 million.

Dvorak scored twice on four shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Both of Dvorak's goals came in the first period, and the latter was a power-play tally. The 25-year-old finished the season well with four goals and two helpers in his last six games. Dvorak established himself as a top-six option with 31 points, 95 shots on net and a minus-11 rating in 56 contests this season. He should be able to maintain a similar role heading into 2021-22.

Dvorak managed an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 5-2 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
Dvorak made a pass that let Phil Kessel loose for a breakaway goal in the third period that stood as the game-winner. The 25-year-old Dvorak saw top-line usage with Nick Schmaltz (upper body) still out. Dvorak has produced 29 points, 91 shots on net and a minus-11 rating through 55 games.
