The veteran only appeared in four postseason contests with Winnipeg during the 2014-15 campaign but still got the opportunity to lift Lord Stanley's Cup last year when the Blues clinched their victory.

Thorburn is due back in St. Louis for 2018-19, and likely will split time between the press box and ice once again.
