Stephenson earned a power-play assist Sunday in a 6-3 win over the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson has made a seamless transition from the Capitals to the Golden Knights, matching his season-long point total of four in 17 fewer games. Cody Glass (concussion) and Cody Eakin (head) being out of commission paved the way for the Vegas newcomer to hold down a middle-six role for the time being. Stephenson also received 1:05 on the power play in this one, so it'll be interesting to see whether that becomes a trend.

Stephenson secured an even-strength assist and dished out a hit in Thursday's loss to St. Louis
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson collected his second point with the Golden Knights since coming over in a trade from Washington on Dec. 2. The 25-year-old has added some nice depth in the desert, as he's now up to six points, 22 shots on goal and 25 hits in 29 games this year.

Stephenson was dealt to the Golden Knights in exchange for a 2021 fifth-round pick Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson tallied three goals and four points in 24 games with the Capitals this season. The 25-year-old winger will add some depth to the Golden Knights' forward group but should stick in a bottom-six role like he had in Washington.

Stephenson scored the game-winning goal on his lone shot in Sunday's 5-2 win over Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson buried a wrist shot from the slot while nearly every other skater on the ice was occupied by a melee behind the Anaheim net. The goal, Stephenson's third of the season, put the Capitals up 3-0 with 34 seconds left in the second period. Two of his three goals have been game-winners but he remains a bottom-six real-life forward who does not possess any fantasy appeal.

Stephenson scored a goal and was plus-2 while delivering four hits in a 6-1 win over Buffalo on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
For someone not known for his goal-scoring prowess, the touch Stephenson showed on his backhand goal to finish off an odd-man rush was awfully impressive. His second goal of the year gave the Caps a 2-0 lead seven minutes into the first period and held up as the winner. Stephenson scored a combined 11 goals over the previous two seasons in a bottom-six role and is not a fantasy asset.

Stephenson potted a goal and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson's second-period tally deflected off of Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson and into the net behind Cam Talbot. The offensively-challenged Stephenson will take his goals however he can get them -- it's his second point in nine games this season.

Stephenson tallied a shorthanded assist and won seven of 13 faceoffs during Thursday's 6-5 loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson forced a turnover that led to Tom Wilson's shorthanded goal in the second period. The helper was the 25-year-old's first point of the season in his fifth game played. Head coach Todd Reirden seems to have a soft spot for the third-round pick from the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, but his regularity in the lineup is anything but assured given his lack of offense (four shots, no goals) and cap hit, so he'll have minimal fantasy value in 2019-20.

Stephenson signed a one-year, $1.05 million contract extension with the Capitals on Friday, Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson filed for arbitration July 5 after being extended a $715,000 qualifying offer from the Caps in late June. The 25-year-old appeared in 64 games last season, logging 11 points and a minus-13 ice rating.

Stephenson filed for salary arbitration Friday, Brian McNally of NBC Sports Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson appeared in 64 games last season for the Caps, logging five goals and six assists along with a disappointing minus-13 ice rating. The Canadian's qualifying offer from Washington was $715,000. If both sides reach a deal at or before the arbitration hearing and Stephenson remains with the team, he'll likely be limited to a depth role in 2019-20.

Stephenson was given a qualifying offer on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Stephenson had a lackluster season with the Capitals, with just five goals and 11 points -- along with an abysmal minus-13 rating -- in 64 games. The 25-year-old will face competition for a depth role should he remain with the Capitals in 2019-20.
