Seabrook (hip) joined his teammates for voluntary small-group workouts Thursday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Seabrook has already expressed that he's hoping to return for postseason play, and his presence on the ice with his teammates Thursday brought him one step closer to doing just that. If the 35-year-old vet is in fact able to suit up for Game 1 of Chicago's qualifying round matchup with the Oilers, he'll likely be playing sheltered minutes on the team's bottom pairing, limiting his fantasy potential.

Seabrook (hip) will attempt to play in the NHL's upcoming 24-team playoff, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Seabrook underwent surgery on his right shoulder in December before undergoing surgery on his left hip in January and right hip in February. The 35-year-old blueliner clearly wasn't the same player he once was this season, which led to he and the Blackhawks making the decision to have him undergo that laundry list of surgeries in the hope that he'd be revitalized and ready to return closer to full health in 2020-21 than he's been in years. However, thanks to the NHL's lengthy hiatus, the 15-year vet may be able to come back and contribute in Chicago's qualifying round matchup against the Oilers. Seabrook has yet to be cleared for contact, but he has been skating, and he appears on track to join the Blackhawks for training camp, which is set to get underway July 13. Another update on the three-time Stanley Cup champion should emerge shortly after training camp kicks off.

Seabrook will undergo surgery on his right shoulder and both of his hips and will miss the remainder of the campaign.
EDGE Analysis
These sound like injuries that have been bothering Seabrook for quite some time, and with the Blackhawks' season looking more and more like a lost cause with each passing game, it makes sense for the veteran blueliner to go under the knife now in order to be ready for the start of the 2020-21 campaign. However, due to the severity of the procedures he's set to undergo, it's possible that the three-time Stanley Cup champion will simply decide to call it a career. The 34-year-old, who's already been placed on long-term injured reserve, will finish the 2019-20 season having notched just three goals and four points in 32 games.

Coach Jeremy Colliton didn't have an update on Seabrook's (undisclosed) status Monday, Eric Lear of the Blackhawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The specific nature of Seabrook's issue remains a mystery, but he can be considered out indefinitely until the Blackhawks are able to provide an update on his condition. Dennis Gilbert will continue to hold on to a spot in the lineup until Seabrook's given the green light.

Seabrook scored a goal on two shots and had two blocks in Thursday's 4-2 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Seabrook got the Blackhawks on the board midway through the third period with his third goal of the season. Seabrook had just one point in his first 16 games and watched multiple games from the press box, but he's come around a bit offensively as of late, picking up two goals and an assist over his last four games.

Seabrook scored on his lone shot and was plus-5 with three blocks in Saturday's 7-2 win over Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Seabrook's goal 1:51 into the second period put the Blackhawks ahead 3-0 and proved to be the eventual game-winner. It's been a rough go for Seabrook this season, one that has included several games in the press box as a healthy scratch, but a goal and a plus-5 rating sure look good in Saturday's box score. Seabrook's days as an upper-tier offensive catalyst are a thing of the past and he has been given a significantly lesser real-life role in 2019-20. He can be left on your league's waiver wire.

Seabrook will be a healthy scratch for Sunday's home clash against the Kings, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran has been struggling to his standards this season, registering just one assist and is a minus-5 through the first nine games of the campaign. Coach Jeremy Colliton has been lukewarm on Seabrook's play thus far, and has said he needs more from the 34-year-old. The team will hope this move will ignite a turn around for Seabrook, and in his stead for Sunday, Dennis Gilbert will draw into the lineup.

Seabrook scored a power-play goal on his lone shot of the game and added four hits and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Seabrook picked up his first goal -- and point -- of the season when he drove home a loose puck from the right faceoff circle in the first period Saturday. The 34-year-old has seen his offensive production level off from his peak in recent years, but he still logs enough playing time to at least stay on the radar in fantasy leagues.

Seabrook notched two assists in Friday's 6-1 win over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
It's the veteran defenseman's first multi-point effort since Dec. 12. Seabrook only had one point (a helper) in his prior 11 games, so expecting a repeat performance in Chicago's regular-season finale Saturday is probably asking too much, but he is now two points away from his 10th career 30-point campaign.
