The 30-year-old blueliner has seen an uptick in ice time since Nicolas Hague (wrist) exited the lineup earlier in January. McNabb has nine points, 102 blocked shots, 89 hits, 41 shots on net and 28 PIM through 40 appearances, though his inconsistent offense limits his fantasy appeal.

The 30-year-old is much more of a physical presence than a scoring threat on the blue line. He's up to eight points, 84 blocked shots, 74 hits, 32 shots on net, 28 PIM and a plus-5 rating in 35 contests. He matched his scoring output from last season.

McNabb earned the secondary assist on Jonathan Marchessault's empty-net goal. That helper snapped a 13-game point drought for McNabb, who managed 33 hits and 20 blocked shots while his offense was quiet. The 30-year-old started the season unreasonably well, so a cooldown could have been expected. He's at seven points, 66 hits, 66 blocks, 25 shots on net and a plus-4 rating in 29 outings overall.

McNabb scored a goal, blocked six shots, levied two hits and added four PIM in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Canucks.

Physical as ever, McNabb was also able to put the Golden Knights ahead for the first time in the game with a tally at 10:51 of the second period. The 30-year-old blueliner has exceeded expectations on offense with six points in 15 outings. He's added 32 hits, 41 blocks, eight PIM and an even plus-minus rating while often playing a defensive role in the bottom four.

McNabb helped out on a Jonas Rondbjerg goal in the first period. The 30-year-old McNabb also saw a bump in ice time, playing 24:43 in the contest after Alec Martinez left the contest with a facial laceration. McNabb could jump into a top-four role if Martinez is forced to miss additional time. Through 14 games, McNabb has five points, 30 hits, 35 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating.

McNabb added the final insurance in the Golden Knights' comeback win. The 30-year-old defenseman has done reasonably well on offense with four points through 11 contests. He's added 30 blocks, 25 hits and just eight shots on net. While he can chip in some points, he's much more likely to produce in the physical categories, which makes him a low-end fantasy option at best.

He won't keep racking up a point every other game, but he's usually quite adept in the physical aspects of the sport.

McNabb is mostly a physical player, but he was able to add the secondary helper on defense partner Shea Theodore's first-period tally. The 30-year-old McNabb has already racked up eight hits and blocked shots each in two games, and he should remain in a defense-first role in the top four. Considering he has 17 points in 112 games across the last two seasons, fantasy managers shouldn't expect a scoring breakout this year.
