Richardson (upper body) will not play in Monday's contest against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has appeared in all eight games for Nashville this season but hasn't tallied a point since Jan. 16. He's considered day-to-day and could suit up for Thursday's game against the Panthers.

Richardson scored a goal on his lone shot and won nine of 16 faceoffs (56.3 percent) in Saturday's 5-2 win over Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson cleaned up a loose puck in front to give the Predators a 3-2 lead nine minutes into the third period. It was his first goal with Nashville and stood as the game-winner. The 36-year-old, in his 16th NHL season, has a point in each of his first two games with his new team while providing a strong presence in the faceoff circle.

Richardson (thumb) collected an assist and won seven of 12 faceoffs (58.3 percent) in Thursday's 3-1 win over Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson showed no ill effects from his offseason surgery, centering Nashville's fourth line and chipping in with an assist on Filip Forsberg's game-winning goal. The 35-year-old journeyman signed with Nashville in the offseason following stints with Colorado, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Arizona. Richardson is a reliable bottom-six role player who scored a career-high 19 goals just two seasons ago.

Richardson (thumb) is in the projected lineup for Thursday's Opening Night matchup with Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson underwent thumb surgery following last season's playoffs, but he's had plenty of time to recover and shouldn't have any limitations against the Blue Jackets. The 35-year-old vet is expected to center Nashville's fourth line Thursday.

Richardson (thumb) signed a one-year, $1 million contract with Nashville on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The 35-year-old forward underwent surgery on his thumb after the Coyotes were knocked out of the playoffs and it's unclear what his rehab timeline will look like. Richardson scored just six goals and 11 points in 59 games with Arizona last season. Expect the veteran to fill a bottom-six role with the Predators next season.

Richardson (thumb) will be allowed to hit the open market, Arizona Coyotes Insider Craig Morgan reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Richardson won't be re-signed prior to the opening of free agency Friday, the Coyotes appear to still have interest in bringing him back into the fold if the price is right. The 34-year-old center has reached the 20-point mark in just one of his previous four seasons, so fantasy players shouldn't be banking on him producing at high levels offensively.

Richardson suffered a thumb injury during the playoffs that will require offseason surgery, Arizona Coyotes Insider Craig Morgan reports.
EDGE Analysis
They Coyotes have yet to release an expected timetable for Richardson's recovery, but at this point there's no reason to believe he won't be ready when next season's training camp opens in mid-November. Richardson will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and at 35 years old, it remains to be seen how much interest he'll draw on the open market. The 2003 fifth-round pick notched 11 points in 59 regular-season contests before adding two goals and an assist in nine playoff games while skating in a fourth-line role for Arizona.

Richardson scored the overtime, and series, winner during Friday's 4-3 victory over the Predators in Game 4 of their Stanley Cup Qualifier.
EDGE Analysis
The 35-year-old grinder scored only six goals and 11 points in 59 games during the regular season and came into Friday with zero points in three games during the series, but Richardson found himself in the right place at the right time a little over five minutes into the extra period, banging home his own rebound to send Arizona into the next round. If Coyotes fans are looking for a good omen, here it is -- the last time Richardson scored a postseason goal came in the first round of the 2012 playoffs for the Kings, and they went on to hoist the Stanley Cup.

Richardson (groin) took part in Monday's Phase 3 training camp practice, Arizona Coyotes Insider Craig Morgan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson underwent surgery back in mid-May after playing through the injury for much of the season. It seems the extra time off afforded the center the opportunity to get healthy. The veteran center should be expected to take on a bottom-six role when the club faces off with Nashville on August 2.

Richardson underwent groin and hip surgery two days after the season was paused in mid-March, Craig Morgan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Richardson has evidently been playing through pain in his back and core throughout the season due to issues with his groin and hips, which at least can partly explain the steep drop-off in production he's experienced this season (six goals, 11 points) after racking up 19 goals and 27 points in 66 games a year ago. The 35-year-old pivot believes he'd likely be skating at this point if he had access to Arizona's training facility, and that he could be ready to play within a few weeks from a health standpoint, so if/when the NHL season resumes, he should be ready to rock.
