Brad Richards scored three goals in the Raangers' 8-4 win over Buffalo Friday night.
Richards is begining to heat up after a very disappointing season. He has four goals and five points in his last two games. Derek Stepan, Rick Nash and Ryane Clowe each registered two points in the victory.

Brad Richards has a goal and five points in four games this month.
"Richie has worked hard at the other parts of his game," said Rangers coach John Tortorella. "The offense is coming." Richards has largely been a disappointment in New York from a fantasy standpoint, but he has meshed with his new linemates, Mats Zuccarello and Ryane Clowe. We wouldn't be surprised if he finishes the campaign on a hot note as the Rangers fight to secure a playoff spot.

Brad Richards (neck) will return on Friday.
Richards missed two games after being hit from behind by Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta on Sunday. He has two goals and 13 points in 20 games this season, but he should pick up the pace in the second half.

Brad Richards' upper body injury is related to his neck and back.
Richards isn't expected to play on Thursday. The injury stems from Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta hit from behind on Sunday, but the good news is Richards doesn't appear to have a concussion. "It's not a long-term thing," Richards said. "I went in (to the boards) pretty hard. I've just got to let the body regroup a little bit here . Obviously, the neck and back are a little locked up."

Brad Richards isn't sure when he'll be able to return from an upper body injury.
The good news is that Richards said he doesn't have a concussion after being hit from behind into the boards during Sunday's game. He was able to finish the contest, but he missed Tuesday's game due to soreness. Consider him day-to-day.

Rangers coach John Tortorella doesn't expect Brad Richards to be out long term because of an upper-body injury.
He participated briefly in the team's optional morning skate and didn't play Tuesday night after being pushed from behind into the boards by Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta during Sunday's contest. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Brad Richards (upper body) won't play Tuesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Richards was injured during Sunday's game when he was hit from behind into the boards by Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta, who earned a five-game suspension for the hit. Richards eventually returned to play during Sunday's game but didn't practice Monday and left Tuesday's skate early. It's unclear how long Richards will be sidelined for. Michael Haley, who was recalled from AHL Hartford earlier, will play in Richards' place against Philly.

Brad Richards (upper body) left the morning skate early and is questionable to play Tuesday night against the Flyers.
Richards didn't skate Monday after being hit from behind into the boards during Sunday's game against Buffalo. He was expected to play tonight, but his lack of practice lends some doubt to the issue. The Rangers also called up tough guy Michael Haley in time for tonight's game, leading many to think Richards is a game-time call at best. Check back closer to the drop of the puck for confirmation on Richards' status.

Brad Richards didn't skate Monday but the Rangers are confident that he'll be fine after being hit from behind into the boards by Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta Sunday.
He received some treatment instead because he was sore following the contest. "He'll be fine," coach John Tortorella said. Richards' teammates were optimistic about his status as well.
