Raanta will be the starting goaltender for Monday's road tilt against the Oilers, Dave Vest of the Coyotes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta has put together a great season in 2017-18, especially when considering that he plays for the cellar-dwelling Coyotes. Through 39 games, Raanta is 15-15-6 with a 2.43 GAA and .924 save percentage, and he has been truly tough to beat of late. In his last nine appearances, he owns a 1.79 GAA and .949 save percentage to go along with a 6-1-1 record, including a single road appearance which he stopped all 12 shots he faced. Meanwhile, Edmonton has dropped their last three games while scoring just two goals in each contest.

Raanta allowed one goal on 24 shots in a 2-1 victory over the Senators on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran goaltender has mostly experienced an up-and-down season, but he has put together a very strong last month. Raanta is 6-1-0 with a .952 save percentage in the last eight games. That includes a .953 save percentage and three straight victories since Feb. 24. It's tough to trust goaltenders on last-placed teams, but owners should feel free to ride out the hot streak.

Raanta will be the home starter for Saturday's game against the Senators, Richard Morin of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta has been helping carry the Coyotes lately, compiling a .943 save percentage and 2.01 GAA and posting a 6-1-1 record over the past nine games. This Coyotes team has shown new life lately too, averaging four goals per game over their last eight. The Senators provide a good opportunity to keep the hot streak rolling, as they're 22nd in the league with 2.7 goals per game, but they have converted on the power play in four consecutive outings.

Raanta stopped 32 of 35 shots in Thursday's win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta has been excellent of late, picking up victories in four of his last five outings. The 28-year-old has put together a solid debut season in Arizona, posting a 14-15-6 record with a .923 save percentage. Given his heavy workload and recent play, the Finnish netminder is worth getting in your lineup down the stretch.

Raanta will patrol the crease for Thursday's matchup with Minnesota, Craig Morgan of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
A first-year Coyote, Raanta's 2.46 GAA and .923 save percentage have made him one of the few bright spots for the last-place Desert Dogs. The Finnish netminder has been particularly good at home, where he owns a 2.30 GAA and .930 save percentage in 22 contests, as well as pitching a shutout in two of his last three home starts. Thursday, Raanta and Arizona will come up against a Minnesota squad that's scoring an average of 4.80 goals on its active five-game winning streak.

Raanta set aside all 26 shots from from the visiting Ducks on Saturday, culminating in his 10th career shutout.
EDGE Analysis
The Finnish netminder surrendered five goals on 38 shots to the Flames in his previous outing, so it was nice to see him bounce back in a huge way. Raanta's been a revelation this month, having accumulated five wins over nine games to complement a skinny 2.14 GAA and equally robust .937 percentage. Arizona remains in last place in the league standings, but look deeper under the hood and you'll realize that the 28-year-old backstop is actually running quite well down the stretch.

Raanta will guard the home goal Saturday against the Ducks, Dave Vest of the Coyotes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta will start the front end of the back-to-back set Saturday and Sunday, looking to put a subpar effort (five goals allowed on 38 shots) Thursday behind him. He should have a decent chance to do so against a Ducks team averaging just 2.36 goals per game during February.

Raanta allowed five goals on 38 shots in Thursday's loss to the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta picked up his first defeat in three games, falling to 12-15-6 on the season with a .922 save percentage. The 28-year-old has been playing quite well of late, so don't be put off by his lackluster performance against a desperate Flames squad currently battling for playoff position. Although Arizona is out of the playoff picture, look for Raanta to finish strong and try and play the role of spoiler.

Raanta will guard the home goal Thursday against the Flames, Dave Vest of the Coyotes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta posted an immaculate 40-save shutout in his last start Saturday against the Oilers. Although it's been a rough season overall for the Coyotes and Raanta has seen his GAA jump from 2.26 with the Rangers last season to 2.45 this year, his save percentage has actually improved slightly to .924 from .922 in 2016-17. Things have turned a corner recently on the GAA front as well, with three straight victories under his belt and a 0.91 mark in his last four appearances. He will attempt to extend that streak to four Thursday against a Flames club averaging 2.90 goals per game on the road this season.

Raanta stopped 40 shots in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
It looked as though Edmonton had tied the game in the third period when Patrick Maroon tipped home a point shot, but the goal was overturned on replay due to goalie interference, preserving Raanta's first shutout of the season and ninth of his career. The 28-year-old now has a sparkling .976 save percentage over his last four games, all Coyotes wins, and while the team remains in the NHL basement they could wind up spoiling the playoff chances of a couple of Western Conference rivals if Raanta stays hot down the stretch.
