Coach Pual Maurice indicated Tuesday that Bitetto (lower body) is considered day-to-day, Ken Wiebe of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bitetto departed Tuesday's game prematurely, logging only 9:05 of ice time prior to suffering an injury. He did rack up two shots on goal, but the blueliner's status for Thursday's game is certainly in doubt at this juncture. Confirmation of his status should arrive prior to puck drop.

Bitetto suffered a lower-body injury and won't return to Tuesday's game against the Coyotes, Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bitetto wasn't present on the bench following the first intermission, and he's officially been ruled out for the game. It hasn't been reported yet how Bitetto suffered this injury, but his next chance to return will be Thursday against the Islanders.

Bitetto picked up an assist and dished out three hits in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Bitetto supplied the secondary helper on Patrik Laine's lone tally for the Jets. The 29-year-old defenseman has never topped seven points or 36 games in a single season, so he's well off the radar for fantasy owners.

Bitetto penned a one-year, two-way deal with Winnipeg on Tuesday that will pay him $700,000 at the NHL level.
EDGE Analysis
Stuck behind a logjam of defensemen when he was with Nashville, Bitetto saw an uptick in playing time after making the move to Minnesota at the deadline. The 28-year-old will certainly be in the mix for a spot on the 23-man roster during training camp, but may be hard pressed to beat out Dmitry Kulikov or Sami Niku and may have to spend some time in the minors.

Bitetto was a minus-3 but had three blocks in 13:07 of ice time in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Bitetto dressed in his second game in a row after being scratched in four of six, and didn't perform well. The 28-year-old had careless giveaways and turnovers that directly translated to goals against in the game. Bitetto has just three points in 34 games this campaign, and Head coach Bruce Boudreau seems to prefer Nick Seeler over him in the lineup. The New York native shouldn't be anywhere near a fantasy lineup for the rest of the season.

Bitetto had two blocks in 11:05 of ice time in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Bitetto didn't have the game he'd hoped for against his former team, giving up multiple odd-man chances against from bad turnovers and positioning. The 28-year-old hasn't produced a point in 12 games since he was claimed off waivers by Minnesota on Jan. 28. With Bitetto struggling, don't be surprised if the team deploys Nick Seeler as their sixth defenseman for the foreseeable future.

Bitetto has no points and is a minus-3 since he was claimed off waivers by Minnesota on Jan. 25.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old has never been a scoring threat and was brought in to add depth in the absence of Mathew Dumba (pectoral). The Wild still seem to value the defenseman, as evidenced by his 14:38 of average ice time. Don't count on Bitetto to provide fantasy value any time soon.

Bitetto was snatched off the waiver wire by Minnesota from Nashville on Friday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
At a mere $650,000 cap hit, combined with 114 games of NHL experience, it would have been a shocker to see Bitetto make it through unclaimed, which is likely why the Preds carried eight defensemen this long into the season. The blueliner could slot into the lineup right away after the All-Star break, though the eventual return of Mathew Dumba (pectoral) could see him back up in the press box.

Bitetto was designated for waivers Thursday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bitetto has served as a healthy scratch for 10 consecutive outings and has been limited to 18 appearances this season. Even when the blueliner is in the lineup, he is averaging a mere 10:40 of ice time. Considering the 28-year-old carrier a cap hit of just $650,000 and will be an unrestricted free agent after the season, it wouldn't be a shock to see a team claim him in order to see how he might fit into its lineup for the rest of the campaign. If he does clear, Bitetto will likely be reassigned to AHL Milwaukee in order to make room for Kyle Turris (lower body) or Miikka Salomaki (upper body) to be activated off injured reserve.

Bitetto was back in the lineup Tuesday, skating 12:18 against the Blackhawks after sitting out the previous three games as a healthy scratch.
EDGE Analysis
Bitetto continues to platoon with Matt Irwin for a spot on the Preds' third defensive pairing opposite Yannick Weber. Unfortunately, with P.K. Subban's return from an upper-body injury looming on the horizon, there will be even less ice time to go around and Bitetto may be looking at a full-time spot on the bench. Needless to say, with just three assists in 14 games this season, Bitetto should not be on anyone's fantasy roster.
