Andy Sutton was dealt to the Edmonton Oilers from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Kurtis Foster.
Sutton signed a two-year deal with Anaheim a year ago but couldn't get it going with the Ducks as he broke his thumb early on and managed to play only 39 games, scoring four points. He is a penalty minutes player and adds more toughness to the Oilers lineup. The Oilers have picked up Sutton, Ben Eager and Darcy Hodichuk for toughness today and those players will definitely help Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle, Magnus Paajarvi and eventually Ryan Nugent-Hopkins play a lot bigger.
