Andrew Brunette will earn $2 million in 2011-12. Brunette should be a decent secondary scorer for Chicago after he recorded 46 points in Minnesota last season. He could do a bit better in Chicago if he ends up playing on one of their top two lines.

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Andrew Brunette to a one-year deal. No financial terms have been announced. Brunette will be re-united with his coach Joel Quenneville as they were together in Colorado. The 37-year-old could be the final piece as a top-six forward for the Blackhawks which will force Viktor Stalberg down to a bottom six role. He had 17 goals and 43 points for the Wild last season but expect more if he can crack a top-six role with Chicago.
