Anders Lindback sustained a lower-body injury Wednesday night.
Lindback came in to relieve Mathieu Garon in the second period against the Leafs, then left in the third period with the injury. He gave up a goal on eight shots in a total of 20:51. The Lightning, who ended up losing 4-2, are calling him day-to-day.

Anders Lindback defended 28 of the 30 shots he faced in a 4-2 win against Philadelphia Monday night.
Lindback has displayed flashes of his potential in this 48-game shortened season, but it's important to remember that he's still learning to be a number one goaltender in the NHL. The 24-year-old goalie has been consistently inconsistent this season but is still the favorite for playing time down the stretch. Start him at your own risk.

Anders LIndback allowed just one goal on 28 shots Thursday, but was saddled with a loss in a 2-0 defeat to the Islanders.
LIndback can hardly be blamed for this result when his teammates managed only 18 shots on goal against an Islanders team not exactly known for its defensive prowess. Look for him to get the nod again in Tampa Bay's next outing.

Anders Lindback defended 37 of the 39 shots he faced in a 3-2 win against Florida Tuesday.
The Lightning were outshot by a whopping 39-13 margin in the contest and Lindback was up to the task. He has played well in his last three starts after getting a breather from the coaching staff.

Anders Lindback is expected to get the start in net Tuesday night.
Lindback has been pretty solid in his last two starts, allowing two goals in each game. Although he's pretty well entrenched as the Lightning's go-to starter in goal, we'll need to see more than two starts before we recommend trusting Lindback. Let's see if he can build off his recent success tonight.

Anders Lindback was a hard-luck loser for the Lightning in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Jets Thursday.
Lindback was solid in a win over the Devils Tuesday that snapped a five-game losing streak for the team and he was good enough to win on this night as well, but didn't receive the necessary support to do so. Despite Mathieu Garon's recent string of starts, Lindback is the favorite for playing time down the stretch.

Anders Lindback is expected to get the nod against Winnipeg Thursday night.
He played well in Tuesday's win over New Jersey after getting some time off to recollect himself following some shaky performances. "Just a good feeling out there," said Lindback, who stopped 25 of 27 shots versus the Devils. "I saw the puck well, and I controlled the first (shots). So I calmed myself down in a lot of situations. We'll watch video of this and try to take it with me and try to get better." He has displayed flashes of his potential, but it's important to remember that he's still learning to be a number one goaltender. He should get the majority of the starts for the Lightning even when Mathieu Garon returns from injury.

Anders Lindback made 25 saves on 27 shots in Tampa's 5-2 win over New Jersey Tuesday night.
His shutout bid was ended at the 15:13 mark of the third period when Adam Henrique scored shorthanded and shortly afterward he allowed another. However, it was still a solid return to the crease for Lindback, who hadn't started for the Lightning since he was pulled on Feb. 24.

Anders Lindback is expected to get the start in goal Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils.
Lindback will likely get the majority of the starts with Mathieu Garon sidelined for the time being with a lower-body injury. The 24-year-old goalie has been consistently inconsistent this season and is 7-5-1 with a .890 save percentage and 3.27 GAA. While Lindback still has a lot of potential, you can probably do better.

Anders Lindback is trying to learn how to be an NHL starting goalie and the Lightning are being patient with his progression.
The 24-year-old netminder has battled some consistency issues this campaign, but that was expected to happen because of inexperience. "That's how it goes in the season, it goes up and down," Lindback said. "I've been feeling good, things just haven't bounced my way, and maybe I've overworked myself in certain situations and maybe I need to calm down in some situations. But other than that, I have a good feeling when I get on the ice and I'm going to keep working hard and it will turn around." He's being given the opportunity to recompose himself now, as Mathieu Garon will start for the third time in four games Thursday night.
