Pardy (hand) will return to the lineup Saturday against the Flames, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.
EDGE Analysis
Expected to rejoin the action Saturday, that will indeed be the case for the first time since mid-March. While he's picked up his scoring pace (two points in six games) and has seen increased ice time (21:18 average) since joining Edmonton, he remains off the man advantage and can't be counted on enough for consideration in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.

Coach Todd McLellan indicated Friday that Pardy should return to the lineup Saturday against the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Pardy was given a week-to-week timetable in mid-March, but has finally reached the cusp of a return to game action. He's managed two assists in six games since joining the Oilers, and the increased ice time (21:18) likely accounts for that increased rate of production. Still, he remains off the radar in most season-long leagues and the fact that he doesn't skate on the man advantage makes him a less intriguing prospect for daily lineups as well. Expect confirmation of Pardy's status for Saturday's contest on game day.

Pardy (hand) joined his teammates on the ice during Monday's practice, but was not part of the line pairings.
EDGE Analysis
Pardy remains without a definite timetable, but his presence on the practice ice sheet Monday seems to suggest he may be starting to close in. Expect further updates when the blueliner is set to play.

Pardy (hand) is not in the starting lineup Tuesday and thus is unlikely to play against the Coyotes, Bob Stauffer of 630 CHED reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pardy did practice on Tuesday, so while he won't return to the ice he could be returning very soon. The 31-year-old veteran defender has notched just three points in 20 games this season, so he wasn't contributing a ton of fantasy value in any case. His next chance to return will come Thursday at San Jose.

Pardy (undisclosed) returned to practice Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Pardy suffered the injury while blocking a shot. His participation in practice is a good sign that his return could be sooner rather than later. Keep in mind however that even when healthy he is no better than a bottom pair defender for Edmonton will very little upside.

Pardy is week-to-week as of Saturday with an undisclosed injury, play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pardy has been a bit player for both Edmonton and Winnipeg this season, as he's been involved in a mere 20 games this season. With just three assists in those outings, the defenseman offers little in terms of fantasy value and will likely not be missed from your daily lineups.

The Oilers claimed Pardy off waivers from the Jets on Monday, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pardy barely played in Winnipeg this year, seeing action in just 14 games and averaging only 13:06 of ice time, and will probably step into a third-pairing role for Edmonton, at least until Oscar Klefbom (infection) is able to return. He's a long, long way from fantasy relevance.

Pardy collected two assists in three preseason games with the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Pardy underwent shoulder surgery in April, but re-signed with the Jets in the offseason, and was expected to be healthy for training camp. That was indeed the case, and he took advantage of the opportunity with the two assists and 19:44 of ice time in his three contests.

Pardy (shoulder) re-signed Wednesday with the Jets on a one-year, $1 million contract, Aaron Ward of TSN reports.
The Jets' current roster is a bit overloaded on blueliners, but Pardy's cheap contract will enable the team to keep him around as a depth defender. The 31-year-old, who is coming off April shoulder surgery, should be healthy for training camp, but projects as little more than a bottom-pair or No. 7 defenseman. He appeared in 55 games for the Jets last season, scoring no goals and notching nine assists.

Pardy underwent shoulder surgery on Monday, tsn.ca reports.
Per the report, Pardy, who recorded nine assists and 40 PIM in 55 games this past season, will be ready for training camp in September. The veteran blueliner is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
