Fox is the sixth defenseman in NHL history with six points (all assists) in his first two games of a playoff year. He surpassed Brad Park for the most points by a defenseman in the first two games of a postseason in Rangers history. And to think Fox is doing this at just 25 -- his best is yet to come.

The man who wears No. 23 for the Rangers came into this game with 23 points in 23 career playoff games, but Fox won't mind this performance spoiling that symmetry. Both of Fox's power-play assists came on tip-ins by Chris Kreider, and Fox also set up a goal by defense partner Ryan Lindgren, as well as Filip Chytil's empty-netter to cap the scoring.

Fox picked up two assists -- one on the power play -- in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Lightning.

Fox was quiet for most of the night but helped the Rangers pull away with third-period assists on goals by Chris Kreider and Artemi Panarin, the latter of which came on the man advantage. With these two points, Fox is up to an even 70 this season, so he'll need four over New York's last four games to tie last year's career high total. He was reunited with customary defense partner Ryan Lindgren (upper body) in this one, as Lindgren returned after missing 17 of New York's previous 18 games.

Fox scored the game-winning goal in Thursday's 2-1 victory over the Hurricanes.

The blueliner had gone 24 games without finding the back of the net, but Fox ended his drought early in the third period by taking a feed from Artemi Panarin and snapping the puck into the top corner over Frederik Andersen's shoulder. Fox was far from unproductive during his goalless stretch, collecting 16 assists during that time, and the tally also tied the career-high 11 he scored last season.

Fox recorded a pair of assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Kings.

Fox set up a Vincent Trocheck goal early in the second period before assisting on Mika Zibanejad's power-play tally in the third. Fox would also add three blocked shots in the contest. The 25-year-old blueliner is up to 56 points (10 goals, 46 assists), putting him fifth among defenseman, through 60 games this season.

Fox logged two assists, three shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Friday's 5-4 shootout win over the Oilers.

Fox set up Chris Kreider's shorthanded goal in the second period and Mika Zibanejad's game-tying power-play marker in the third. Through six games in February, Fox has five helpers, though Friday was his first multi-point effort since Jan. 23. The defenseman is up to 53 points (18 on the power play, two shorthanded), 116 shots on net, 77 blocked shots and a plus-26 rating through 55 contests in what's setting up be another career year.

Fox supplied a power-play assist in Friday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.

Only four blueliners across the league have more points than Fox, who has recorded 10 goals and 40 assists through 52 games. The New York native has also skated to a plus-25 rating, which is a career-best mark along with his sharp 8.8 shooting percentage.

Fox scored a goal and two assists, one on the power play, while adding one shot, two blocked shots and a plus-5 rating during Monday's 6-2 win over the Panthers.

It was a dominant performance for the blueliner, who was on the ice for every Rangers goal. Fox has been on fire in January, and through 10 games on the month he's piled up three goals and 13 points with 19 blocked shots, 31 shots on net and a plus-11 rating.

Fox extended his point streak to six games in the process, a stretch in which he's racked up two goals and nine points, while Thursday's game-winner was his fourth of the season -- tying the career high he set as a rookie in 2019-20.

Fox tallied a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over Minnesota.

Fox tied the game 2-2 in the second period, beating Marc-Andre Fleury on an odd-man rush. The 24-year-old defenseman would add an assist on Filip Chytil's goal in the third following an impressive puck-handling play. The goal was Fox's first since Dec. 5, but he has points in five straight games, logging six assists in that span. He remains one of the top point-scoring defensemen in the league, with eight goals and 34 assists through 42 games this season.
