Lang signed a reserve/future contract with the Patriots on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old joined the Patriots' practice squad in late December after being dropped from Seattle's practice squad in mid-November. Lang went undrafted out of Northwestern in 2025, catching 11 passes for 115 yards and one touchdown during his final collegiate season. After inking a new deal with New England, he'll get a chance to compete for a spot on the active roster in camp.

John Jiles
WR NE (14)
Jiles signed a reserve/future contract with the Patriots on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The West Florida product spent his 2025 campaign with the Patriots' practice squad and could have an opportunity to compete for a spot on the active roster in camp. Jiles has yet to appear in an NFL game after recording 1,081 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 54 catches during his final collegiate season in 2023.

Jake Bobo
WR SEA (8)
Bobo had a pin inserted into his hand to repair a metacarpal fracture the day after Seattle's 31-27 NFC Championship win over the Rams, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The wideout told reporters that he had his stitches removed just one day before the Seahawks' 29-13 Super Bowl LX win over the Patriots. Despite the injury, Bobo played 35 snaps during Sunday's victory and excelled as a blocker, helping Seattle rush for 141 yards. The 27-year-old appeared in 14 regular-season games and caught four of five targets for 53 yards and a touchdown. Bobo is set to hit restricted free agency this offseason, and the Seahawks will have the opportunity to match any offer he receives once they have given him a tender.

Devon Witherspoon
CB SEA (8)
Witherspoon recorded four solo tackles, 1.0 sacks and a pass breakup in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
EDGE Analysis
Witherspoon was sent on the blitz multiple times and seemingly made an impact on each trip. He was fantastic in coverage, too, helping secure the Super Bowl win in his third season. The 2023 first-round pick recorded 89 tackles (61 solo), 11 pass breakups, 1.5 sacks and an interception through 15 games, including the playoffs. Witherspoon is heading into the final year of his rookie contract, although he'll almost certainly have his fifth-year option picked up.
Julian Love S SEA (8) Mon 2/9/26 9:28 PM
Julian Love
S SEA (8)
Love recorded three tackles (two solo) and an interception in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
EDGE Analysis
Patriots QB Drake Maye threw an errant deep pass right into Love's handles in the fourth quarter, and the veteran safety returned it for 35 yards. Love missed eight games with a hamstring injury earlier this season, but he was quite dependable when healthy and finished the year with 43 tackles (29 solo), seven pass breakups, 1.0 sacks and two interceptions through 11 games, including the postseason. Love is under contract through the 2027 season and will have a $12.9 million cap hit next year.

Ernest Jones
LB SEA (8)
Jones made 11 tackles (10 solo) in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
EDGE Analysis
The Seahawks shut down the Patriots' running backs to the tune of just 42 yards on 13 carries (3.1 YPC). Jones was instrumental in that effort, as he was all season. The 2021 third-round pick rung up 151 tackles (80 solo), 0.5 sacks, eight pass breakups and six interceptions through 18 games, including the postseason. Jones has two years left on his contract and will carry a team-friendly $11.0 million cap hit in 2026 as the Seahawks look to defend their title.

Uchenna Nwosu
EDR/LB SEA (8)
Nwosu returned an interception for a touchdown in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
EDGE Analysis
Patriots QB Drake Maye's arm was hit as he was throwing, and Nwosu was able to snag the ball and return it 46 yards for a touchdown, sealing the Seahawks' victory in the fourth quarter. Nwosu had a strong pass-rushing effort despite not recording a sack, too. Through 18 games including the postseason, the veteran edge rusher stacked up 37 tackles (18 solo), 7.0 sacks and three pass breakups. The 30-year-old is heading into the final year of his contract, carrying a $20.0 million cap hit.
Michael Dickson P SEA (8) Mon 2/9/26 9:15 PM
Michael Dickson
P SEA (8)
Dickson punted seven times for 335 yards (47.9 average) in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
EDGE Analysis
Dickson had a long of 55 yards and landed three punts inside the 20-yard line, and most importantly, he allowed second-team All-Pro punt returner Marcus Jones to return just two punts for four yards. During the regular season, Dickson averaged 49.0 yards per punt (sixth) while earning second-team All-Pro honors. Dickson signed a four-year, $16.2 million extension last August to retain him through the 2029 season.
Derick Hall EDR/LB SEA (8) Mon 2/9/26 9:09 PM
Derick Hall
EDR/LB SEA (8)
Hall recorded 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
EDGE Analysis
The Seahawks' plethora of pass-rushers was the difference maker in this game, and Hall was legitimately in the MVP conversation with his performance. Hall recorded just 2.0 sacks through 14 regular-season games, but he matched that total on the biggest stage. The 2023 second-round pick dropped Patriots QB Drake Maye for a 10-yard loss on the first drive of the game. He added a strip-sack in the waning seconds of the third quarter with the ball being recovered by second-year DT Byron Murphy. Hall will be in the final year of his contract in 2026, making him an extension candidate this offseason.
David Njoku TE FA Mon 2/9/26 8:12 PM
David Njoku
TE FA
Njoku (knee) posted on his Instagram account Monday that it is time for him "to find a new home," Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Njoku just completed his ninth season with the Browns, posting a 33-293-4 receiving line on 48 targets over 12 games. His catch, yardage and target totals were his lowest since 2020, due in part to injury (he missed five contests, including the final four of the season) but even more so because of the emergence of rookie TE Harold Fannin (groin). Njoku's contract is scheduled to void upon the start of the 2026 league year, and it sounds like the veteran out of Bowling Green won't be returning to Cleveland. Given the increasing importance of tight ends around the league, though, Njoku could still have multiple suitors in free agency.
