Da'Shawn Hand
DE/IL ATL (5)
Fri 2/13/26 5:26 PM

Hand accumulated 29 tackles (18 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and four passes defensed, including one interception, over 13 games in the 2025 regular season.
EDGE Analysis
Hand's Week 14 interception of Jalen Hurts marked the first of his eight-year career, and the pick helped lead the Chargers to a pivotal victory over the then defending champs. The defensive end managed to exceed his 2024 sack total (1.0) despite playing four fewer games in 2025. The 30-year-old will enter the 2026 offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

RJ Mickens
S LAC (12)
Fri 2/13/26 5:19 PM

Mickens had 29 tackles (18 solo) and two interceptions over 12 regular-season games for the Chargers in 2025.
EDGE Analysis
Mickens was utilized as a rotational safety option behind starters Derwin James and Elijah Molden. The rookie enjoyed a strong start to his career with interceptions against the Vikings in Week 8 and the Steelers in Week 10. He will likely start his sophomore season in a rotational role once again, as both James and Molden will be back in their starting roles in 2026.

Mike Evans
WR SF (14)
Fri 2/13/26 5:05 PM

Evans isn't likely to retire this offseason, according to ESPN's Jenna Laine.
EDGE Analysis
Laine notes that fellow Bucs legend Lavonte David said he'll either re-sign with the team or retire, whereas Evans is considered more likely to continue his NFL career. The implication seems to be that Evans is willing to play for another team if he can't reach terms with Tampa Bay before hitting free agency in March. He'll turn 33 in August after finishing 2025 with career lows in numerous categories, including games played (eight), catch rate (48.4 percent) and yards per game (48.4).

Courtney Jackson
WR NYG (14)
Fri 2/13/26 5:01 PM

The Giants signed Jackson to a reserve/future contract Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson spent the 2025 season on Seattle's practice squad after joining the team in late August. Though the undrafted rookie did not see regular-season action in 2025, he showed promise as a punt returner towards the end of his college career at Arkansas. The 24-year-old will participate in New York's offseason activities and could see a role on special teams should he find a spot on the active roster in 2026.

Joe Flacco
QB FA
Fri 2/13/26 1:55 PM

Flacco recently told the Ross Tucker Football Podcast that he wants to continue his NFL career and will target the best opportunities for playing time.
EDGE Analysis
In other words, Flacco won't be any hurry to re-sign with Cincinnati as Joe Burrow's backup, even though ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that the Bengals are interested in keeping the 41-year-old. If he can't find a chance to compete for a starting job, Flacco suggested that he may remain a free agent deep into the summer, waiting for injuries and/or benchings that open up job oppotunities.

Terry McLaurin
WR WAS (12)
Fri 2/13/26 1:10 PM

New Commanders offensive coordinator David Blough wants McLaurin to get "10 targets a game," according to UWSA9's John Doran.
EDGE Analysis
"This thing's going to be built around how do we get [McLaurin] 10 targets a game," said Blough. "And get [McLaurin] explosive receptions after explosive receptions to kind of flip the field." It sounds promising from a fantasy standpoint, but McLaurin has reached eight targets per game just once in his seven NFL seasons (8.9 in 2020). He finished 2025 with career lows for games played (10), targets per game (6.0) and yards per game (58.2), among other statistics, though he also averaged 9.7 YPT and had a career-high 61.7 percent success rate on targets. There's a strong enough bounce-back argument for 2026, even if the volume mentioned by Blough is unrealistic.

Stefon Diggs
WR FA
Fri 2/13/26 11:46 AM1 Comment

Diggs pleaded not guilty Friday to criminal charges stemming from an alleged dispute Dec. 2 with his personal chef, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Diggs' attorney said the wide receiver "categorically denies" the allegations, which include a charge of felony strangulation. Diggs' arraignment was postponed until after the Super Bowl to allow him to play in the game. Following his Friday arraignment, Diggs is next scheduled to appear April 1 for a pretrial hearing.

Jamaree Caldwell
IL/DT LAC (12)
Fri 2/13/26 12:56 AM

Caldwell recorded 31 tackles (14 solo) with 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble across 17 regular-season games with the Chargers in 2025.
EDGE Analysis
The Chargers selected Caldwell in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and he went on to play 485 defensive snaps in his rookie season. He primarily functioned as a run stuffer, which he did effectively, and he should at least maintain a comparable role in 2026. While Caldwell was a key member of the Chargers' defense, his fantasy intrigue is minimal due to his lack of production as a pass rusher.

Benjamin St-Juste
CB GB (5)
Fri 2/13/26 12:36 AM

St-Juste recorded 37 tackles (22 solo), seven passes defensed and one interception across 16 regular-season games with the Chargers in 2025.
EDGE Analysis
St-Juste joined the Chargers on a modest one-year deal prior to the 2025 season. He filled a depth role in the secondary, with his 355 defensive snaps marking his fewest since his rookie campaign. On the other hand, St. Juste did well when tested by opposing quarterbacks, so he may get a slightly larger deal this offseason with the chance to earn more of a defensive role in 2026.

Denzel Perryman
LB LAC (12)
Thu 2/12/26 9:03 PM

Perryman concluded the 2025 regular season with 47 tackles (30 solo) and three pass breakups in 10 appearances.
EDGE Analysis
The inside linebacker missed five games with an ankle injury and two more due to a suspension stemming from a Week 16 hit on Cowboys receiver Ryan Flournoy. Perryman did start all 10 games he played in as well as the Chargers' playoff matchup with the Patriots. The veteran has played on one-year deals for each of the last three seasons, and he is set to become a free agent again.
