Mitchell Trubisky QB TEN (10) Mon 3/9/26 1:15 PM
Mitchell Trubisky
QB TEN (10)
The Titans are set to sign Trubisky to two-year deal, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trubisky, who served as Josh Allen's top backup the last two seasons while with the Bills, thus is slated to handle a similar role in Tennessee behind 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. Also currently in the team's QB mix is Will Levis (shoulder), but the addition of Trubisky could foreshadow the 2023 second-rounder being moved.
Jaylen Watson CB LAR (8) Mon 3/9/26 1:09 PM
Jaylen Watson
CB LAR (8)
Watson (groin) agreed to a three-year contract with the Rams on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Watson's deal won't become official until the new league year begins Wednesday, at which point the Rams should officially have two former Chiefs cornerbacks on their roster in Watson and Trent McDuffie. Watson notched exactly six passes defensed in each of his four regular seasons with Kansas City, exceeding expectations after being drafted in the seventh round in 2022. He started all 15 games in which he appeared for the Chiefs in 2025 before missing the final two games of the season due to a groin injury, an issue he'll presumably be past ahead of OTAs.
Theo Johnson TE NYG (14) Mon 3/9/26 1:09 PM
Theo Johnson
TE NYG (14)
Johnson (illness) faces added target competition after the Giants signed Isaiah Likely to a three-year, $40 million contract Monday, Albert Breer of SI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson, a 2024 fourth-round pick, emerged as New York's clear top tight end in 2025 while securing 45 of 74 targets for 528 and five touchdowns across 15 regular-season appearances, but Likely's contract and familiarity with new head coach John Harbaugh make him the favorite to lead the position in pass-catching reps. That said, Johnson figures to remain in a significant role on offense and the Giants made it a priority to re-sign blocking specialist Chris Manhertz prior to the start of free agency. It won't be surprising if New York deploys a heavy rotation at right end during the 2026 season. Johnson missed the final two games of 2025 due to an illness but should be fully healthy to begin offseason activities.
Romeo Doubs WR NE (14) Mon 3/9/26 1:07 PM
Romeo Doubs
WR NE (14)
Doubs doesn't intend to re-sign with the Packers, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Doubs was never considered likely to re-sign in Green Bay, especially after Christian Watson came on strong in the second half of the 2025 campaign. With Alec Pierce re-signing in Indianapolis, receiver-needy teams may view Doubs as one of the top options on the market.
Jaelan Phillips EDR/LB CAR (14) Mon 3/9/26 1:02 PM
Jaelan Phillips
EDR/LB CAR (14)
Phillips agreed to a four-year, $120 million contract with the Panthers on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Phillips' massive new contract won't be finalized until the new league year begins Wednesday. Carolina is banking on a return to form for Miami's 2021 first-round pick, as Phillips had just 6.0 sacks in 21 games split between Miami and Philadelphia over the past two regular seasons after notching at least 6.5 sacks in each of his first three campaigns with the Dolphins.
Isaiah Likely TE NYG (14) Mon 3/9/26 12:58 PM
Isaiah Likely
TE NYG (14)
Likely is in line to sign a three-year contract with the Giants, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
EDGE Analysis
The initial report has it as a three-year, $40 million contract with a maximum value of $47.5 million. That's a good sign that the Giants envision Likely in a larger role than the one he typically handled in Baltimore, where Mark Andrews and Charlie Kolar also played a lot of snaps at tight end. That said, the Giants still have Theo Johnson on his rookie contract and recently re-signed blocking specialist Chris Manhertz, creating plenty of competition for playing time. Likely doesn't figure to handle huge snap counts even if his receiving usage expands.
Dre'Mont Jones EDR/LB NE (14) Mon 3/9/26 12:56 PM
Dre'Mont Jones
EDR/LB NE (14)
Jones agreed to a three-year, $39.5 million contract with the Patriots on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jones' deal won't be official until the new league year begins Wednesday, but the parameters of the contract are in place and include $14.5 million in the first year. Jones had a rare 18-game regular season in 2025 due to a midseason trade from Tennessee to Baltimore, and he took advantage of the extra game to set a new career high with 7.0 sacks, surpassing his totals of 6.5 from the 2020 and 2022 regular seasons with Denver. He'll be a key piece of the pass rush in New England.
Malik Willis QB MIA (12) Mon 3/9/26 12:56 PM
Malik Willis
QB MIA (12)
Willis agreed to terms on a three-year, $67.5 million contract with the Dolphins on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Willis will reunite with a pair of familiar faces from his time in Green Bay as he heads to Miami in the form of new Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley and new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan. Willis' signing coincides with the announced impending release of Tua Tagovialoa as a post june-1 cut, signaling the start of a new era at quarterback for the Dolphins. Across 11 combined regular-season appearances (three starts) in Green Bay over the last two years, Willis completed an impressive 78 percent of his pass attempts for 972 yards, six touchdowns and zero interceptions, in addition to 42 carries for 261 yards and three scores. While the Dolphins still need to provide Willis with reliable playmakers beyond wideout Jaylen Waddle (ribs) and running back De'Von Achane, the quarterback's dynamic athleticism and dual-threat abilities signal potential elite fantasy upside if things break right in his new landing spot.
Michael Pittman WR PIT (5) Mon 3/9/26 12:51 PM
Michael Pittman
WR PIT (5)
The Colts are trading Pittman to the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pittman, who is coming off a 2025 regular-season in which he caught 80 of his 111 targets for 784 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns in 17 contests, will provide the Steelers' WR corps with an immediate boost, as he'll work alongside DK Metcalf this coming season. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, dealing Pittman will free up $24 million in salary-cap space for the Colts, who signed fellow WR Alec Pierce to a reported four-year, $116 million deal earlier Monday. Additionally, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that Pittman is getting a new three-year, $59 million deal with the Steelers, but at this stage it's uncertain which QB he'll be catching passes from this coming season.
Eric Stokes CB LV (8) Mon 3/9/26 12:51 PM
Eric Stokes
CB LV (8)
Stokes and the Raiders agreed to a three-year, $30 million contract Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stokes will get $20 million guaranteed on his new deal with Vegas after recording 53 tackles (35 solo) and five passes defensed for the Raiders in 2025. That was the 27-year-old cornerback's most productive season since his rookie 2021 campaign in Green Bay, when Stokes notched 14 passes defensed and 55 tackles (43 solo) in 16 regular-season games.
