Quincy Williams
LB CLE (9)
Williams and the Browns agreed to a two-year contract Monday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams is expected to take the starting linebacker spot vacated by Devin Bush after the latter signed a three-year deal with the Bears on Monday. Williams logged 100-plus tackles in four consecutive seasons from 2021 to 2024, but that streak was broken last year after he missed four games while on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury. The Murray State product finished with 83 tackles (45 solo), including a career-high 3.5 sacks, and seven pass defenses across 13 regular-season games in 2025.

Reed Blankenship
S HOU (6)
The Texans are signing Blankenship to a three-year, $24.75 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
An undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee, Blankenship emerged as a key contributor to the Eagles' defense since joining the team in May of 2022. He finished with 83 tackles (53 solo), four pass defenses (one interception), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 16 regular-season games in 2025 while playing over 1,000 defensive snaps for the first time in his NFL career. The Texans boasted one of the best defensive units in the league in 2025, and the addition of Blankenship bolsters a strong secondary that also includes Derek Stingley, Kamari Lassiter, Jalen Pitre and Jaylen Reed.
Trevor Penning LAC (12) Mon 3/9/26 6:53 PM
Trevor Penning
LAC (12)
Penning re-signed to Los Angeles on a one-year, $4.5 million contract Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Penning will get a chance to continue his development with the Chargers after having joined the team mid-season via trade from the Saints in 2025. The 2022 first-round pick started four of his seven appearances with Los Angeles last season and will be a candidate to contribute at both guard and tackle in 2026.
Isaiah Hodgins WR NYG (14) Mon 3/9/26 6:48 PM
Isaiah Hodgins
WR NYG (14)
The Giants re-signed Hodgins to a one-year contract Monday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hodgins was signed to the Giants' active roster in mid-November after opening the season on the Steelers' practice squad. He appeared in seven regular-season games for the Giants and finished with 10 catches (on 19 targets) for 115 yards and one touchdown. Hodgins will enter training camp in the summer competing for a spot on the Giants' 53-man roster for the 2026 season.
Jermaine Eluemunor NYG (14) Mon 3/9/26 6:42 PM
Jermaine Eluemunor
NYG (14)
Eluemunor signed a three-year, $39 million contract with the Giants on Monday that includes $26 million guaranteed, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eluemunor joined the Giants in March of 2024 on a two-year, $14 million contract. His new deal will carry an annual salary of $13 million and ensures that he will serve as the Giants' starter at right tackle.
Larry Borom DET (8) Mon 3/9/26 6:36 PM
Larry Borom
DET (8)
Borom agreed to terms Monday on a contract with Detroit, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Borom will shore up the offensive tackle position for the Lions in the wake of Taylor Decker's release. That said, the veteran lineman may be better suited to a depth role than slotting in as a starter, leaving Detroit with further work to do in free agency and/or April's draft. Borom has started 38 of 63 regular-season appearances across five years in the NFL.
Kenny Pickett QB CAR (14) Mon 3/9/26 6:32 PM
Kenny Pickett
QB CAR (14)
Pickett is slated to sign a one-year contract with the Panthers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Journeyman QB Andy Dalton remains under contract with the Panthers, but considering his guaranteed money ($2 million) is half that of Pickett's, the latter seems poised to be Bryce Young's backup in 2026 while Dalton could see himself cut for minimal cap savings. Since moving on from Pittsburgh after the 2023 season, Pickett has made 11 appearances (three starts) the last two campaigns between the Eagles and Raiders, completing 53 of 87 passes (60.9 percent) for 479 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions, rushing 14 times for 37 yards and one more score and fumbling twice (one lost).
Austin Schlottmann TEN (10) Mon 3/9/26 6:32 PM
Austin Schlottmann
TEN (10)
Schlottmann signed a one-year contract with the Titans on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Schlottman served as the Giants' backup center for most of the 2025 regular season, though he did start in four games (including Weeks 17 and 18) in place of John Michael Schmitz (finger). It appears as though Schlottman will have the opportunity to compete for the starting center job in Tennessee, given that the Titans released Lloyd Cushenberry (undisclosed) with a failed physical designation in late February and that Corey Levin (biceps) is still an unrestricted free agent.
Rashid Shaheed WR SEA (8) Mon 3/9/26 6:28 PM
Rashid Shaheed
WR SEA (8)
Shaheed is re-signing with the Seahawks on a three-year, $51 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's a huge amount of money relative to Shaheed's limited receiving production after joining Seattle mid-season, but his work in the return game and as a ballcarrier couldn't have been better. He averaged more than 40 receiving yards per game in each of his three-plus seasons with New Orleans, which hints at upside to become Seattle's No. 2 WR with the benefit of a full offseason catching passes from QB Sam Darnold. That said, fellow wideouts Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton still are under contract in Seattle, giving Shaheed decent competition for playing time alongside target hog Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Vederian Lowe SF (14) Mon 3/9/26 6:23 PM
Vederian Lowe
SF (14)
Lowe and the 49ers agreed to a two-year, $12 million contract Monday that includes $5.75 million guaranteed, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lowe spent the majority of the 2025 season as a backup offensive lineman for the Patriots, though he started in four straight games from Week 13 to Week 17 due to the absence of Will Campbell (knee). Lowe will now head to San Francisco, where he's expected to serve as a backup option at offensive tackle behind Trent Williams and Colton McKivitz.
