Robert Spillane
LB NE (14)
Sun 1/25/26 3:46 PM

Spillane (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Spillane tweaked his ankle during the first quarter, and he is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Jack Gibbens will get more snaps on defense for as long as Spillane is out of action.

QJL Skinner
S DEN (12)
Sun 1/25/26 1:51 PM

Skinner (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Skinner popped up on Friday's injury report as a limited participant due to a quadriceps injury, which is severe enough for him to not play Sunday. Devon Key will serve as the Broncos' depth option at safety behind starters Talanoa Hufanga and P.J. Locke in Skinner's absence.

QAlex Forsyth
DEN (12)
Sun 1/25/26 1:48 PM

Forsyth (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forsyth injured his ankle during the Broncos' AFC divisional-round victory over the Bills, and the injury is severe enough to be sidelined for Sunday's Championship Game. The good news for Denver is that Luke Wattenberg (shoulder) -- who opened the season as the starting center -- was cleared to play Sunday after being activated from injured reserve Saturday.

Efton Chism
WR NE (14)
Sun 1/25/26 1:47 PM

Chism (coach's decision) is a healthy inactive for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Chism had suited up for both of the Patriots' final two games of the regular season as well as the first two contests of the postseason, but he'll sit out with New England welcoming fellow wideout Mack Hollins (abdomen) back from injured reserve for Sunday's contest in Denver. The rookie receiver had also contributed on kickoff returns during the playoffs, but those duties will likely fall to D'Ernest Johnson and Kyle Williams in the AFC Championship Game.

Luke Wattenberg
DEN (12)
Sun 1/25/26 1:47 PM

Wattenberg (shoulder) is active for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wattenberg was activated from injured reserve Saturday, and the fourth-year pro has been officially cleared to play in his first game since Week 16 after recovering from a shoulder injury. He should reclaim his starting job at center, and Alex Forsyth -- who filled in at center in Wattenberg's absence -- will not play Sunday due to an ankle injury.

Michael Bandy
WR DEN (12)
Sun 1/25/26 1:45 PM

Bandy (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Broncos elevated both Bandy and Elijah Moore from the practice squad Saturday, but Denver will go with the latter as the No. 5 receiver in the absence of Troy Franklin (hamstring). Bandy appeared in four regular-season games for the Broncos in 2025 and caught all four of his targets for 50 yards and one touchdown.

Marte Mapu
LB NE (14)
Sun 1/25/26 1:43 PM

Mapu (hip) is active for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Mapu was battling through a hip injury during practice, but the third-year pro has been given the green light to play in Sunday's Championship Game. He has primarily served on special teams this season and has not recorded a tackle across the Patriots' two playoff games.

Mack Hollins
WR NE (14)
Sun 1/25/26 1:39 PM

Hollins (abdomen) is active for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
Hollins had been listed as questionable heading into Sunday, but his return to action had already been set in motion by the Patriots activating him from injured reserve Saturday. The wideout had missed the final two games of the regular season as well as the Patriots' first two postseason contests while recovering from an abdominal issue. Hollins closed the week of prep with a full practice Friday, and the Patriots' decision to make fellow wideout Efton Chism inactive for the contest likely signals that the veteran receiver won't be under any strict limitations Sunday. A valued blocker, Hollins was also a productive secondary option in the passing game during the regular season, finishing with 46 catches for 550 yards and two touchdowns on 65 targets over 15 appearances.

QTroy Franklin
WR DEN (12)
Sun 1/25/26 1:32 PM

Franklin (hamstring) is inactive Sunday for the Broncos' AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Aric DiLalla of Denver's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin was a limited practice participant throughout the week and was deemed questionable heading into Sunday, but the wideout will ultimately be forced to the sideline for the first time all season while he recovers from the hamstring injury he sustained in the divisional-round win over the Bills. With Franklin sitting out, the Broncos should have more reps open at receiver for Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims and Lil'Jordan Humphrey behind No. 1 wideout Courtland Sutton.

QBo Nix
QB DEN (12)
Sun 1/25/26 9:47 AM

Nix is expected to require 12 weeks to heal after undergoing surgery Tuesday to repair his broken right ankle, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
According to Schefter, Nix will be barred from putting weight on his right ankle for the next four weeks following surgery, and he'll then need around eight weeks to complete the rehab process before he's ready to resume on-field work. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network adds that Nix received good news upon undergoing surgery, as his injured ankle had "limited ligament damage and no joint surface damage." Given the estimated recovery timeline, Nix doesn't look like he'll be available for the start of Denver's offseason program, though he could be fully cleared for OTAs and minicamp in the late spring. With Nix sidelined for the duration of the Broncos' playoff run, Jarrett Stidham will step in as the team's starting quarterback in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots.
