Tetairoa McMillan
WR CAR (14)
Thu 2/5/26 9:34 PM

McMillan was named the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Panthers selected McMillan with the eighth overall pick in the 2025 Draft, and he quickly emerged as Carolina's top pass catcher. Even with inconsistent quarterback play and low pass volume in the offense, McMillan topped 1,000 receiving yards in 17 regular-season games while reaching 100 yards in two separate contests. He could face similar obstacles in 2026, but McMillan will remain a key part of the offense and should earn plenty of targets.

Myles Garrett
EDR/DE CLE (9)
Thu 2/5/26 9:24 PM

Garrett was named the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Garrett set the single-season sack record Week 18 against the Bengals, and he ended the season with 23.0 sacks. Given that, it's not particularly surprising that he was unanimously voted as the Defensive Player of the Year, with J.J. Watt the only other player to accomplish the feat. This was Garrett's second time winning the award in his excellent career.

QEdgerrin Cooper
LB GB (5)
Thu 2/5/26 9:21 PM

Cooper (ankle) recorded 118 tackles (63 solo), including 0.5 sack, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 16 regular-season games in 2025.
EDGE Analysis
The linebacker also recorded eight stops (six solo) in Green Bay's wild-card playoff game against Chicago before leaving with an ankle injury. While the issue will be worth monitoring as the offseason progresses, Cooper firmly established himself as a centerpiece of Green Bay's defense this season, finishing second on the team in tackles. The 2024 second-round pick should play a big role again in the fall.

Javon Bullard
S GB (5)
Thu 2/5/26 9:11 PM

Bullard finished the 2025 regular season with 83 tackles (49 solo), three pass breakups and a fumble recovery in 17 contests.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year pro also made two tackles (one solo) in Green Bay's playoff loss to Chicago. Overall, Bullard played a majority of the defensive snaps in most games and settled into his role as the Packers' slot corner. The 2024 second-round pick should return to that spot in 2026.

Avonte Maddox
S FA
Thu 2/5/26 9:09 PM

Maddox recorded 32 tackles (23 solo) with four passes defensed, inclusion one interception, and one forced fumble across 14 regular-season games with the Lions in 2025.
EDGE Analysis
Maddox primarily played special teams to begin the season and was sidelined for two games by a hamstring issue. However, his role expanded for the final four contests of the campaign due to injuries in the Lions secondary, and he logged over 300 defensive snaps for the second straight year. Maddox is set to hit free agency and should be able to land a deal as a depth option.

Jordan Waters
RB LAR (8)
Thu 2/5/26 8:41 PM

Waters signed a reserve/future contract with the Rams on Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.
EDGE Analysis
Waters spent training camp with the Rams but failed to make the roster. He was also selected by the St.Louis Battlehawks of the UFL in January, but he was removed from the roster Thursday to give him another chance in the NFL.

Charles Cross
SEA (8)
Thu 2/5/26 8:36 PM

Cross (foot) was a limited participant in practice for the second day in a row Thursday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The starting left tackle suffered the foot injury during Seattle's divisional-round win over San Francisco but still played in the NFC Championship Game victory over the Rams. His participation in practice, even on a limited basis, should serve as a good sign ahead of the Super Bowl. If Cross can't go, Josh Jones (ankle/knee) should be next in line to replace him, but Jones was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, though he returned to full participation Thursday.

Nick Emmanwori
S SEA (8)
Thu 2/5/26 8:24 PM

Emmanwori (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The slot corner rolled his ankle near the end of Wednesday's practice and was listed as limited for the session. A day later, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said that Emmanwori had a low-ankle sprain and that Seattle would be cautious with his health, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. The coach also said the team fully expects the rookie to play in the Super Bowl, and Emmanwori himself said he'll be "good to go for Sunday," per Boyle.

Harold Landry
EDR/LB NE (14)
Thu 2/5/26 7:59 PM

Landry (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The outside linebacker aggravated the knee injury during New England's divisional-round win over Houston, missed the AFC Championship Game victory over Denver and didn't practice at all last week. Landry did manage to return to the practice field on a limited basis Wednesday. At this point, it's an open question whether he'll play in Sunday's Super Bowl, and if he can't go, Anfernee Jennings and Elijah Ponder should be next in line to take the field.

Sam Darnold
QB SEA (8)
Thu 2/5/26 7:55 PM

Darnold (oblique) was a full practice participant Thursday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
This marks Darnold's first uncapped session since he injured his left oblique in advance of the Seahawks' divisional-round game against the 49ers. He's still suited up for both of Seattle's playoff contests, completing 37 of 53 passes for 470 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. Following Thursday's development, Darnold is in line to continue to lead the team's offense Sunday versus the Patriots in Super Bowl LX.
