Flowers (ankle) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He'll go down as a non-participant for the second practice in a row, clouding his status for Sunday's game in Cleveland. The Ravens will wait and see what, if anything, Flowers can do during Friday's practice before determining whether he'll be cleared to play against the Browns, carry a designation into the weekend or be ruled out for the contest. A potential Flowers absence Sunday would likely free up more targets for receivers Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor and tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

The Ravens listed Flowers (ankle) as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens opened Week 8 with a walk-through session after beating Tampa Bay on Monday. Flowers returned to the 41-31 win after injuring his ankle early on, ultimately handling a 70 percent snap share and a team-high 88 percent route share, but he finished with just one target and one carry for 30 total yards. The only pass he saw after suffering the injury was a flubbed backward throw that officially counted a lost fumble for quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Flowers caught his only target for 11 yards and rushed once for 19 yards in Monday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Flowers appeared to hurt his ankle on his 19-yard run in the second quarter. He stayed in the game and couldn't corral a backward pass in the fourth quarter on a play that went down as a Lamar Jackson fumble. Flowers' lack of involvement was especially disappointing considering Jackson threw five touchdown passes, but it's likely that the ankle injury had something to do with Flowers' quiet night. With that context in mind, Flowers' Week 8 status will bear monitoring as he has one fewer day than usual to recover before facing the Browns.

Flowers caught all nine of his targets for 132 yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Commanders.
EDGE Analysis
Curiously, all of his catches came in the first half, but it was still enough for a career-best performance from the second-year wideout. Flowers has topped 100 receiving yards in back-to-back games, and through six weeks, he has a strong 33-401-1 line on 48 targets. The league's better secondaries have been able to neutralize Flowers -- most of his production has come in contests against Washington, Cincinnati and Las Vegas -- but that shouldn't be an issue for him in Week 7 against Tampa Bay.

Flowers caught seven of 12 targets for 111 yards in Sunday's 41-38 overtime win over the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
It's the first time in 2024, and the third time in his career, that the second-year wideout has delivered triple-digit receiving yardage. It was also an impressive bounce-back performance from Flowers, who'd managed just a 4-30-0 line on six targets over the prior two games combined. He'll look to build on this performance in Week 6 against the Commanders.

Flowers brought in one of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 35-10 win over the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Flowers turned in another dud following last week's 3-20-0 receiving line against the Cowboys. The 2023 first-round pick racked up 13 receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown in his first two games, so there is hope for the sophomore to break out of his mini slump. Flowers could be in line for more work in a road matchup against the Bengals' high-powered offense Sunday.

Flowers recorded three catches on four targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 28-25 win over the Cowboys. He added one rush for three yards.
EDGE Analysis
Flowers had seen strong target volume in the first two weeks of the season, though game script dictated otherwise Sunday. The Ravens attempted only 15 passes as opposed to 45 rushes, leaving all of the team's pass catchers with limited volume. Positively, Flowers still tied for the team lead in targets, and a Week 4 matchup against Buffalo is likely to dictate that Baltimore takes to the air more often.

Flowers brought in seven of 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 26-23 loss to the Raiders on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Flowers' line looked like that of a No. 1 receiver in a victory, as the second-year wideout continued to look the part while recording team highs in receptions, receiving yards and targets. However, the Ravens went on to blow a 10-point lead in the second half, which had been established with Flowers' eight-yard touchdown grab early in the fourth quarter. Despite the disappointing outcome, Flowers' fantasy stock is strong heading into a Week 3 road showdown against the Cowboys next Sunday.

Flowers secured six of 10 targets for 37 yards and rushed twice for 14 yards in the Ravens' 27-20 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
Flowers was the runner-up in both receptions and targets on the night for the Ravens, although the overwhelming majority of his catches were very close to the line of scrimmage. The second-year wideout did look explosive with the ball in his hands and ready to resume or even expand the robust role he enjoyed as a rookie in 2023, when he logged 85 touches across 16 regular-season games and another 11 in two playoff contests. Flowers will aim to up his efficiency at the expense of the Raiders in a Week 2 home battle on Sunday, Sept. 15.

Coach John Harbaugh suggested Wednesday that the Ravens are on track to continue to have key starters (a group that includes Flowers) not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Falcons, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Flowers was among the team's starters not to see action in this past Friday's exhibition opener against the Eagles, and it looks like he won't see any snaps this weekend either. As the coming season approaches, Flowers is slated to start alongside fellow WR Rashod Bateman, a role that should allow the 2023 first-rounder to see steady targets from QB Lamar Jackson throughout his second campaign as a pro. As a rookie, Flowers compiled a 77-858-5 receiving line across 16 regular-season games, numbers that he'll have a good chance to eclipse provided he can stay healthy in 2024.
